Joseph Anthony Retreat Spa and Salon has held a prestigious spot as a premier salon and retreat day spa in the Philadelphia region since the 1980s. In 2007, Joseph Anthony opened its flagship location in Glen Mills, a state-of-the-art facility that provides a host of professional services in a comfortable relaxing atmosphere with an emphasis on personal attention to each client. In 2015, Joseph Anthony opened a second location in Springfield featuring a one of a kind Turkish Bath. The excitement grows as they expand to a third location at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia.

Had a phenomenal massage for my birthday. The ambiance was great, the staff friendly, and my massage therapist Laura gave me the best massage I’ve ever had! Laura is great at finding all those hidden spots that have been giving me pain. I highly recommend her for relaxation and therapeutic massages! I will definitely be back.

I’ve had great experiences at both of JA’s suburban locations. Today was a 60 min deep tissue massage with Nancy. She was wonderful. Extremely kind and caring, and also great at her job. The brine room afterward was a treat. I would 100% recommend JA Springfield and if you can get Nancy for your service, you will not be disappointed.

Nice facial, but I would recommend going to a different location unless you want to hear a bunch of women loudly talk about their personal problems in the brine room. Multiple staff walked in the room as women were yelling and laughing in a room that clearly states it is a “quiet space”.
