Got my first massage at JOs Body Shop yesterday. I have many issues with my body right now. Not only did she COMPLETELY LISTEN to my concerns, but she explained what she would do – she uses MANY techniques and I woke up this morning feeling INCREDIBLE! Wow, J is a true healer. I have an old neck injury that flares up when I am stressed. I was on day 3 of constant, debilitating pain and stiffness. We discussed it holistically, from both eastern and western perspectives, and she dispensed a ton of wisdom as well as practical advice for what I should do next. The massage itself was remarkable, incorporating acupressure, cupping, cranio-sacral and probably a bunch of other stuff I didnt recognize. I walked out of there feeling renewed and almost completely pain free. Immediately made a second appointment for next week. I’m writing this the next day, feeling 95% pain free and 100% grateful to live in the same town as JOs Body Shop!!

Not only does Jo do wonders as a message therapist, she even sells amazing things right out of her message parlor! This parlor, to me, feels like a home away from home! Crystals for sale, of all different shapes sizes and colors, are discovered near the storefront window. She even has gorgeous jewelry of all different kinds, a nice selection of skin care and other healthy body products, a lovely cute collection of books, and more! The atmosphere always feels inviting.
