Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueMy first experience was great I had the owner so my hair. The second time I figured would be just like the first time. I quickly was brought to a second girl, with short black hair and spoke no English not even Spanglish. Mentioned to her & confirm my service that I wanted a wash and blow dry. My hair texture is soft, 4 a/b curls, high- mid back length and as if I have Hispanic in my lineage though I am 100% Black American. I follow her to the back to the sink. She washes me and something tells me to sniff bc there was a strong chemical odor from the products she was using. This didn’t seem okay so I looked back and she quickly disguised it with regular conditioner.The lady pulls out a hidden hair conditioner applies and next thing I know by the end of the week. 85% of my hair was falling out.After reaching out to licensed and further qualified hair professionals, they concluded a relaxer with LYE was applied to my hair and has thus began breaking off from the follicle.This is anyones worst nightmare!I’ve had to continually cut 2-3 inches off my hair and it’s legit falling out since October.Only blow dried it once after that. I only blow dry my hair 4-5x a year so imagine the quality of curls I had. I am now close to having to do a big chop hoping that my hair will eventually grow back to the natural undamaged state it was in prior.This place will not take any responsibility, overcharge you and not deliver the service you are paying for. They only seem to have 3-5 customers which should’ve been a red flag but I needed a quick look for an engagement and it landed me with having to cut and cut and cut to prevent more breakage.Service: HairstylingMy first experience was great I had the owner so my hair. My first experience was great I had the owner so my hair. The second time I figured would be just like the first time. I quickly was brought to a second girl, with short black hair and spoke no English not even Spanglish. Mentioned to her & confirm my service that I wanted a wash and blow dry. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThe salon has always been clean BUT most importantly the stylists had their MASKS on while providing services and Social Distancing ! I felt comfortable, safe, and the young provided excellent service ! Thank you ladies
