On January 18/2022 went with my daughter for a pedicure and manicure at JoJo salon in Costa Mesa. The pedicure was awesome , the ladies where welcoming, my favorite part was the waxing mask on the feet , that’s something I definitely recommend. The massage chairs where very comfortable and actually worked, the environment was very clean, neat and smelled nice inside. The ambiance is beautiful and elegant. However the acrylic manicure was a fail in therms of being artistic. Mine where a French manicure coffin style and my daughter almond shape, mine where a little better than hers, however hers where way too thick and a couple of them crooked, from the distance wasn’t that bad. I just wished I didn’t do acrylic here. I should have just stick to regular manicure and I would have had a pleasant experience. I don’t recommend this salon for acrylic or artistic but definitely a go to for massage and ambiance and natural pedi-meni. The prices where way too high for the sloppy art on the acrylic. I was very pleased with the pedicure. I appreciated the care and ambiance. The other picture was of my hand after I came to remove the nails and the lady was so rough that made my finger bleed. I expected the removal to be much more gentle than what I experienced. I was disappointed. I wrote the review so other know what to expect. I shared the good and the bad honestly. I wished I read a review like this before going in. From now on I will only go with referrals, never picking up a random neighborhood salon again.

I got a signature pedi (“$45”) w/ gel polish, and a mani w/ no polish basically a cuticle cut walked out spending $85 …. WHERE DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE? Thankfully my nail tech was nice, but most def. never returning. Front desk staff is hella unprofessional; I was never welcomed, when I walked in she was sitting down and made sure to take a seat in the waiting areas EVERY CHANCE SHE GOT to gossip about how tired she was at 12pm -_- . Then had the nerve to have an attitude when she needed to get up to do her job ??? No manners what so ever, didn’t even say you’re welcome after telling her thank you. Terrible – DO NOT COME HERE. The aesthetics are misleading just like their pricing.

I went in for fill, reshape and a fresh design. I wanted this design and when I showed the design they said they were able to do most of the art which was fine by me. But then when we went to fill and reshape, I wanted to run away. My fingers are cut and burned like crazy. I asked if we could shorten them and make them sharp, she made them very short and dull. All and all I wish I just stuck with my old salon.

They are great with little girls. First experience here. My moms nails were okay although no one knew how to do a design of a flower for her. I went for my nails for my wedding…not at all what I was expecting. They also charged 80 dollars just for this set of nails just so you are aware price range.

Very expensive for a full set with small design. Wasn’t happy with the set was still charged $65-this is without tip and I lost 2 nails in less than a week. I suggest a different nail salon.

I came in to get acrylics and everything seemed fine at first I showed them the photos of the ones I wanted and they told me they were able to do them but after the lady finished adding the powder and filing them down she passed me on to another lady that would be doing the designs and I get that it was already time for them to leave and I was their last customer but that lady rushed everything and made me hate my nail set, they even pressured me into hurrying up and choosing a color and when I did they told me it wasn’t a good one and that I should have chosen a darker color and when I did I had instant regrets cause it looked a mess also when I asked for square shaped they gave me coffin and only left my pinkies square, and the set was $90 it’s only been 2 days and the gel already chipped on 2 of my nails which reminds me that when I was there another customer came in for the exact same reason that their gel nails had chipped after 2 days I suggest if you really care about your nails or want designs to go some where else, I only came here because it was close to my house and it was my first time I’m never coming back again I normally go to Diamond Nail spa in West Covina to get my nails done perfectly if you guys go there ask for Vinh I promise you won’t regret it

Would give this place 0 stars if I possibly could. The first time I went here it was nice, the ambiance is calm and the nail techs were fine enough. My nails came out a little thin but other than that they were perfectly fine. My second time around I did NOT have the same experience. Personally, I do have a bit of anxiety and don’t get my nails done due to biting. When I do take the rare chance of getting them done I expect to come in and be treated with respect and some level of professionalism, as I think anyone would. As I’m sitting the first thing my nails tech does is laugh and proceed to call other workers to come look and talk about the state my nails were in. Now, as unprofessional as it already was, I was going to let it go until she decided to keep this going throughout the entirety of my sit down. Long story short, this isn’t to you, this is a message to the people working here. Please, for the love of God, be professional and respectful. Your job is to create a safe environment people can come to and feel renewed/refreshed/ect, it is not to be judgemental or anything else. The simplest way I can say this is.. Your job is to sit down, be respectful, and do nails. Literally that is all. If you can’t do your job don’t do the job. Won’t be coming in again. I truly hope that you all don’t repeat in any way the discomfort you made me feel for anyone else.
