This is the same barbershop that I used to go to back in my college years. Moved away, came back and Viola, it was still here. Vernon is a very good barber and an even better conversationalist. Go see him when you need a haircut. You won’t be disappointed .

Vernon has been there with his barber shop in Hurst for decades. I had difficulty finding a true barber who knew what a traditional “man’s haircut” was to a man who was born in 1950. The price is great and the quality of the haircuts has been excellent for me. I have been going there for the past 10 years.

This is a traditional barber shop, about as traditional as it gets. Regular haircut is $17. Don’t expect pretty female hair stylists or a TV tuned to sports near every chair. They have one small TV in the corner and only one barber (Vernon), who has been cutting hair for a very long time. But if you just want a good haircut at a fair price, this place is hard to beat.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityJohn is the best barber in the Mid-Cities. If you like an old school cut with no BS this is the place. The best time to get a cut is between 2pm and 4pm. The staff has told me that is nap time for lots of their senior clients.
