I utilized the same stylist/barber for 29 years while in Houston. Recently moved to the area of Nacodoches and went on a search for a barber shop. Based on recommendations I settled on Johnny’s and by luck of the draw specifically Paula; one of four lovely ladies who provide a scissor cuts. No razor cuts. They take their time and do excellent work. A very high percentage of their business is repeat though I have noticed individuals coming in for the first time seeking a correction cut from other shops. The ladies will ask how one likes their hair to be cut and work w the client as the cut progresses to get the desired outcome. Cuts are $15.00 plus tips. I have been very pleased with the work and comfortable with my appearance on leaving. I have the intent of a long term relationship w this business and continuing to work w Paula.

My hubby did. This woman butcherd his whole beard. Gapped his sideburne on one , Gapped the other sideburn and left half of it un trimmed. Cut part of his beard off under his bottom lip. I took pics. Under his neck is gapped in the center. That’s not all of what she did.

I received an overall great haircut, with very few symmetrical abnormalities. The wait was short, despite it being a Saturday. I’m not a big fan of queueing for a haircut instead of making an appointment, but it is more efficient for those who prefer walk-ins. I cannot speak for the other barbers, but Karen did a great job.
