I’ve read a comment lowballing this place just because they don’t take walk-ins AND because they are Asian. Really?!! FYI there’s a big sign at the door saying that. The place is BUSY and everyone must call for appointments. I use this business for 10 years and was always like that. Amy (the hair professional) works ALONE and takes care of ONE customer at a time, taking an average of 20 minutes per job. The service is flawless and the price is UNDER the average around, almost by half. How can you dare give 1 star and also mentioning about her ethnicity? She is Asian, Im Hispanic, the guy sitting next to me now is Pacific Islander, the othey guy that Amy is working now is Black, a subject walking by the sidewalk is Mid Eastern. About you? Do you know what? Do us (the customers) a favor and go find somewhere else to do business. We love Amy the way she is.

Amy is hilariously curt with her customers, which may put some people off. However, she backs up that attitude with a best-for-value haircut and fade for only $21. Specializing in men’s hair, Johnny’s (who is Johnny, anyway) is definitely recommended if you’re in the area and like to keep it simple.

Not a problem for me as I really don’t care either way as long as someone can cut hair right. But, it must have been a problem for them because she was rude and said quickly that she has no openings. Amy is an excellent barber and amazing person. People constantly ask me where I get my hair cut, and I hate to give away the local secret, but I say “Johnny’s Barber Shop.” Never walked out with anything less than a great cut. Impressive fades.
