Took my 10yr old for a teen Facial and child’s cut& style. Jodie the Esthetician was So Gentle and Sweet. My child never has been in a salon nor had a facial this was her first experience and it went wonderful so wonderful that she wants it all the time!!! I did this because my daughter and her hormones are starting and she needed her skin done and this week was her birthday so I treated her to something special. She actually said it was very relaxing and she loved it and want to do it more. I will be going to Jodi now on! I highly recommend if you need a facial,go to Jodi F.

Went in for a beard trim and color to cover the grey. Had that done one other time in Florida and the lady did a fabulous job. Unfortunately, here at John Roberts Alanna completely messed it up. She used color that was much too dark. Doesn’t match natural hair. It honestly looks like I did it myself with a cheap drugstore product. Very disappointed .

Today was my first time getting my hair done in over a year and Faith left a great first impression. We talked the entire time and she was very understanding of what I wanted. Ive been coming here for years. Mae previously did my hair and when she moved on to her own salon I had Faith do my hair. Today was my first time getting my hair done in over a year and Faith left a great first impression. We talked the entire time and she was very understanding of what I wanted. I have very thick and long curly hair and it takes a special stylist to understand how to work with my hair type. I will definitely go to Faith again and in general I recommend this salon because everyone is always welcoming and its always a enjoyable experience.

I moved to the east side and was looking for a new salon to go to.. came across this place and had a few cuts with a few different stylists and was extremely pleased. Decided to go for a change and lighten my dark hair. I knew this would be a process. After my second “color correction” I noticed my hair was two toned due to the bottom being processed longer than the top. I called in and asked if the top half of my hair could be corrected to match the bottom as I spent a good chunk of change at this point. The salon was very accommodating and set me up with Celia the artistic coordinator to have it corrected. I went in for my appointment and she began applying bleach to my whole head which I thought was strange considering I just wanted the top corrected to match the bottom half of my hair but I trusted her. She then in the middle of my service told me she was going to charge me 80 for the service ( I thought I wasn’t going to be charged, but I paid anyhow and added a tip – also the front desk was closing for the night so she asked to collect payment so she could close up ). She washed the bleach out of my hair and took me to the chair to blow dry. My hair is extremely thick mind you and I could see it coming out in the brush and could see her struggling to brush through it. She stopped drying my hair and told me best to let it air dry. Grabbed some conditioning masks from the back and told me to apply them and sent me on my way. I got into my car and touched my hair and it just was coming out in clumps. It felt like jelly. I had extremely thick and healthy hair before seeing her. A majority of my hair was broken off into 2 inch long pieces. Literally your worst nightmare. I couldn’t believe she let me leave knowing my hair was ruined took my money and acted like everything was okay. I went back to the salon and the manager was very apologetic and they gave me free services for a year to fix the damage which was fair but still doesn’t fix the trauma of having your whole head fried off. I do not recommend Celia at ALL. I can’t believe she still has a job there honestly.

If you are looking for a manicure, definitely visit this salon and ask for Neila!!! She has IMPECCABLE attention to detail, and is doing outstanding manicures!! She gave me a French (gel) manicure last week and it is absolutely beautiful!!!! My friends couldn’t believe that these are my natural nails – the polish was SO PERFECT, they thought they were acrylics! Even my husband noticed and commented on how beautiful my hands look! Thanks, Neila, for your awesome work! Totally worth it!!
