I have been going to both John & Lu for at least 30 years. I moved last year and miss their salon so much! It is so difficult to find stylists that are knowledgeable. Not only that, but their salon is so warm & welcoming. I come back to the area once a year & always make an appointment here so John can cut my hair & Lu can color it. I have tried a couple of stylists in my new area but have not found the quality of stylists/colorists nor the warmth that I feel at this salon! I love coming here and I receive so many compliments on my hair when I go back home.

John lost control of his scissors and snipped a 3-inch bit of my bangs, which hangs separately from my long hair, grown out over the span of 10 years. I called the salon and cancelled my upcoming appointment, citing John’s mistake as the reason I won’t have my hair done again. The young woman who works there was very kind and professional in hearing my complaint, but John called back yelling at me minutes later, telling me that I am a “psycho” and never to come back to his shop. This is the sole reason I am writing this review. John’s behavior was erratic and worrisome, and I say this having known him many years ago as my main hair dresser. I would not patronize this business again.

I have been going to John Latini Salon for almost 5 years. The service is excellent; the atmosphere warm and welcoming. John and Lu treat me like family. My hair always receives many compliments from John’s superb haircut to Lu’s expert highlighting, color, and skilled styling. Highly recommended this salon so you can look your best!

I have been a customer at John Latini’s salon for three years and they have been the best three years of my hair’s life. John and Lu treat their employees and customer like family while providing upscale cutting edge hair treatments and styling. It is definitely the best of both worlds. Many times I have found a stylist who will do an excellent job on my hair and then as the years go by they lose interest and my hair would go from exceptional to blah. Not here with John and Lu their name goes on every head that leaves the salon and everyone leaves smiling.

Outstanding experience! From the minute I came in, they made me feel at ease and treated me like one of the family. John knew I was nervous, and used a variety of tools and techniques in my cut. I gave 1 because there is no (0). This is the worse salon I ever visit. I went there to ask for an estimate to get a Deva hair cut and to buy the line of DevaCurl product the staff was very rude to me and didn’t let me finish my request and just gave me a piece of paper with the amount of the hair cut like if she didn’t want to talk along with her attitude.
