I moved into the area a year ago now and I tried every other local hair cut spot until I tried John Jacobs. After I came here for a haircut this became my permanent stop. The owner is such a nice guy and all of the barbers are extremely nice. I’ve had my hair cut by every one of them and they all do a great job. Both of my little boys get their hair cut here too and they are great with kids. My youngest is scared to have his hair cut but they give him a lollipop and put on cartoons for him. They’re really patient and nice to my boys which I appreciate. They’ve also got toys to keep the kids occupied while parents get their haircuts done. They have earned our business for life!

Clean place they follow covid guidelines and cuts are pretty good as well. Its hard to find a good barber that can cut my thin hair and i think i found it. My hair is thin and full so it takes longer to cut and blend but they had no trouble here.

He kept palming my head like it was a basketball while running the shaver over it like he was grinding metal smooth. Trimmed my beard as fast he could and instead of using a straight razor on my neck like I asked for he used an electric shaver. Didn’t even use the shaver to clean up the back of my neck. The “free” hot shave on the back of my neck was a waste if you don’t get the hair below that. Quality of work was unacceptable for the cost. I wasn’t going to write this but I keep finding things wrong. I hope the tip I left goes to lessons so he can brush up on his technique.

Been outside this shop for over 40 minutes now 2 hours before actual closing time yet the doors are locked and the barber is sitting doing nothing for the rest of his shift. Got here just before 6pm and it’s now 6:45pm he should adjust times on google to 5:30pm and leave the shop!

Today, my son and I came in for haircuts. The young man who was at Mario’s chair was really outstanding. He really did a great job and I will be back asking for him. Now, the young lady with the blond hair who cut my son’s hair was more on her phone then paying attention to what she was doing. Come on now. This is a business.

I got the worst haircut of my life here today. Every single time I go in here they give me a jacked up haircut. They ALWAYS give me a high and tight no matter how much I tell them “I don’t want it cut too high”. I am disappointed and extremely frustrated.
