I must say that I’ve never worked with a group of more talented and passionate stylists than at John Andrews Salon in my whole career! From this employee’s point of veiw, the owners have created a wonderful, supportive, clean, professional environment with a highly-qualified, experienced creative team through emphasis on sharing continuing education and using the highest quality professional products to bring our clients their best hair possible! The service is efficient, the staff is relaxed & relaxing, the hair cuts/do’s are perfectly suited to my facial & body composition as well as my personal daily hair-care (next-to-nothing but a hand thru) AND the pay suits my pocketbook. I went to this salon twice so far and each time I’ve been really happy with my experience. For starters I’ve lived in NYC prior to COVID for years and was going to a salon on 5th ave. I’m really particular about my haircuts and balayage. I have long medium brown hair and it needs to be cut a certain way so it frames my face and feels light throughout. I’ve seen Mike twice so far for a haircut, root touchup, toner and blow dry. I felt my experience was really great. He listened to what I wanted and I even shared feedback during my 2nd visit that he took into consideration. For these services I can highly recommend him and I’m happy I finally found someone I can trust nearby.

Excellent salon. Ask for Wendy. Best haircut of my entire life. She is great because she actually listens to what you ask for as opposed to telling you what she’s going to do. I also had color and she did a fabulous job. Easy to find and easy parking. This is like a high-end city salon in the suburbs. Great place.

Michelle is the best. I leave with the perfect haircut every time. Also, her balayage skills are amazing. I’ve gotten a full balayage from her and also a touch up right before my wedding. So happy both times. She’s also the sweetest person ever. Go see Michelle!

I am so conscious about my hair. I have been waited for a year to grow my hair and I wanted to do very nice cut and color. After researching a lot I found John Andrews, I researched further more. Found out I wanted to go to Michelle but she is very busy, you have to book in advance. For me I wanted quick one so I just went with who was available. I did with Ginnelle and believe me, I am in love with my new haircut. Thanks @Ginnelle for amazing cut.

I had gone to another salon for years till my hairdresser moved. I read the great reviews for John Andrews Salon online so I called and they gave me an appointment the next week. I have almost waist length hair. I went in and saw Michelle. She listened to me and we also discussed what to do for my new sprout of gray hair. For my long hair full foil highlights, cut, blow dry, and style was $165. Can I even tell you how much money I saved? I have paid well over 200 for the past 5 years. My hair looks great and the other women I saw walking out looked great too! I’m a very happy client!

My wife is very happy with her experiences there and her service. The front end is a bit clunky with scheduling however they have always made up for any errors so far and luckily the scheduling has never affected the level of service she’s received with her hair. I’d give them 5 stars if we hadn’t had the number of scheduling problems encountered to date.
