Today I was in a bit of a time crunch and needed something more local than my normal guy. My friend referred me to Joe’s and I could not be happier with my experience. Joe and his father both made me feel like a regular the moment i walked in the door. I was in and out within the time frame I needed, with no loss of quality – my cut was perfect. The shop is spacious and clean with the old time friendly environment you tend to only see in movies. I never leave reviews, but felt entitled as my expectations were absolutely exceeded. I am happy to say Joe’s has a new “regular” and I have a new barber!

I gotta be honest I really enjoyed coming here and the quality of work is above average. However, after being a loyal customer the past 6 months, I was waiting for my turn for over an hour. Another guys walks in and just when the guy who I thought was ahead of me in the chair finishes, I am told the guy who just walked in is also ahead of me. I couldn’t have been told that there was actually two guys ahead of me, not one, when I walked in? I am normally a pretty tolerant person but I won’t be returning as I hate having my time wasted like that.

Ive been taking my two year old son to visit Joe the Barber for about a year now and my wife and I can’t say enough good things! Joe’s patience with youngsters, and the fun atmosphere make it a great place for his haircuts! Joe was my Barber when I needed one! I was in the shop a few weeks ago and had mentioned to Joey Santos who my father sees for his haircuts that my father was battling Cancer and was not able to come in. Without hesitation Joey offered to visit my father and give him a haircut at his home. He did not ask for additional money and asked me not to pay him extra he said “he was just doing the right thing.” Thank you Joey Santos and Joe the Barber for representing Naugatuck the way it should be. Thank you for allowing my father to feel good about himself allowing him to keep a positive attitude while at the same time battling his cancer. Joes Barbershop in Naugatuck will always have my business!
