I have been coming here twice/monthly for the past 2 years for Chinese acupressure treatments. I have had chronic pain in my neck for most of my life and pain in my hip since a running injury last year. Joe Li has changed my life — I always feel amazing when I leave, and the relief lasts longer than any other kinds of treatments I have tried over the years. I live with significantly less pain now that I have been consistently receiving treatments. I like very intense pressure and Joe is very strong. The prices are very reasonable. Everyone is extremely professional and the place is very clean. I enjoy the hot tea afterward. Joe and his wife always make me feel welcome and I highly recommend coming here.

See, I have an issue with foot pain, one foot more than the other and it makes it difficult for me to walk. My foot feels ten times better and I am so happy that I can walk pain free. My family has been traveling (often long distances) to see Joe Li for years. I finally tried it and the travel was WORTH IT! The gentleman who worked on me was an expert – this was easily the best massage I’ve had in my life. If you like a hard massage, this is the place for you. Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI recently scheduled a body massage but the massage therapist was not there. So I decided to get a foot massage that was offered by the person who usually is at the cash register. I was dismayed by the intense pain that he was causing me while applying pressure along lower leg muscles front and back.I have had reflexology and acupressure before, and I know that it is somewhat intense but not painful at the level of being unbearable. Joe li’s cash register person said “no pain no good…”. Six weeks have passed. My ankles as well as around my toes are still feeling sore. This was one of the best massages in general that I’ve ever gotten, and by far the best foot work. As a former massage therapist, I have had a great many sessions over the years, and the woman who worked on my feet was amazing. I had no foot pain for nearly 3 months after a single session. Unfortunately, I now live across the county, but evey time I come back to CT I will arrange to come here.

It was just ok. They were super nice however the technique didnt relieve my pain at all and they only accept cash so that was an inconvenience as well. Atmosphere is cool but I was disappointed in the massage itself. I only got the foot reflexology massage and was expecting great results given the reviews but I simply didn’t get that. Still tipped because again they were really nice jus won be going back. Oh and they massaged for 50-55 min versus the full 60.
