She greeted me with a big smile, told me not to worry, and proceeded to give me the best root touch-up, color and wonderful blow-out! I have the most frizzy, uncontrollable hair, and for years I battled with different styles, products and stylists. Then I had April do my hair. It was like magic. She was able to see my hair for what it could be, rather than what it was. She thinned my hair out, debulking all of the frizz, and left me with the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I’ve been coming to see Joe & Michelle for years. They ALWAYS take care of me and pick the best colors and cuts for me. The products are as heavenly as the hands that use them. While I don’t mind the drive to Mill Valley (because let’s just face it THEY’RE THAT GOOD) I have been so excited for the San Francisco location. Today was my first time there and like everything else, they delivered. The area is great, super accessible and easy to find. The ambiance and class follows them wherever they go.

This is one salon my mom and I trust with our hair styling and cuts 100%. We have been seeing Joe since he was in Petaluma and then later in Mill Valley. Joe provides really good recommendation and will walk you through how he envisions the cut and ask for your feedback before he starts the work of art on you. He is meticulous, thoughtful, and patient. I’m so glad he is now closer to me in SF! I usually take public transit or Lyft / Uber, but there are plenty of parking garages and street parking within a one block radius.
