Always Great new styles & Color going on.,Even conversations with other customers like today ,We got to say Hello to customers that were in there today from another visit ago. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI had a Very disappointing experience at Jody’s Hair Salon today. For starters, I had an appointment last week and after I waited for about 40 minutes, they told me that my stylist was running late and that I should come back another day if I didn’t want to wait that long. I took another appointment but I didn’t feel that they were at all apologetic about the inconvenience. Today I had an appointment to get highlights and I selected a color with my stylist. She told me I would probably need to get this color over a couple of visits to get the color that I wanted, and I was OK with that. She showed me a more realistic expectation for the change in my color today and I agreed to it. We spent a very long time in the process and my stylist was very professional and sweet. She asked me if I wanted to add a toner and because I had orangey shades in my hair we thought that would be a good idea ( I assumed the highlights would stay intact). To cut a long story short, after 4 1/2 hours when I washed my hair after using the toner, I felt that there was almost no change in the color whatsoever. I didn’t feel like saying anything because she had been very patient and thorough with my hair which is rather long. However, the moment I stepped out of the hairdresser I mentioned to my friend that I was quite disappointed in the results. After my hair dried up a bit and I confirmed that the color didn’t actually change much, I thought that for the amount of money that I spent which was close to $300, I should be more satisfied with the result! I called them to let them know (but I was extremely hesitant as I didn’t want to hurt my stylists feelings). The lady owner answered and I told her that I had just left and that to be honest I felt there was not much difference. Her response was very impatient and her tone was rather rude. She said that was unfair of me to say that and that she could show me pictures to show the difference. I told her the same thing had happened with them few months ago and she kept cutting me off saying impatiently that that happened a year and a half ago in October 2020! I replied to that, that was actually four months ago! She asked me, “Well, what do you want us to do now?” and I responded by , I was kind of hoping that you would suggest how we could handle this. She said they could rinse out the toner a bit more or something of the sort but she kept on arguing that I was mistaken. This is when I got upset from her approach and tone of voice, and I reflected that this wasn’t good customer service where she is disregarding my opinion and insisting that I am wrong in anything I have to say and this way they will lose me as a client! That’s when she said, too bad and hung up in my face!!The reason I had gone back after this same incident occurred in October 2020, is because when I had mentioned that I wasn’t satisfied from the color, the pleasant man who works there (assuming manager) who was a lot more pleasant, said that I could come back within seven days and change the color if I didn’t like it (I didn’t and I let it go and didn’t make any issue about it).
