If you have not yet visited Jody’s place it’s a must if you are in the South Bay! She is absolutely amazing with an eclectic taste in music. Her space is private, quite , and relaxing, my kind of joint! She gives one of the best haircuts I’ve had in my life and that’s saying a lot! Having moved from NYC this past summer I had a tough time finding a great barber in the South Bay. After trying a few out and having no luck, I stumbled upon Jody The Butcher. Jody’s attention to detail is amazing, she’s a true expert in her craft! Not to mention her shop is super cool with an old luxury barber shop feel. Being she is the only barber it’s also a great feeling knowing you’re the sole customer in the shop. Needless to say I’ve been coming to Jody for months and couldn’t be happier with my cuts! 10/10

One of my neighbor’s told me about this place, its a hidden gem in the middle of downtown Manhattan. I had never heard of this spot and now i know why its a total “locals” spot kept secret. Its very private and more on the pricier side but worth every penny! Jody is the sweetest person I have ever met and gives a perfect tailored cut! She is well rounded with clippers and scissors, don’t let the name fool you lol! Unlike other places she actually cares about your hair and will remember the finest details. She takes pride in her work and space and it really shows! Did i mention her complimentary top shelf bar? Ya you wont find jack daniels here. Well now the secrets out sorry Manhattan.
