My favorite and only place I can go to get my nails done in the NOVA area.A gel set always lasts for a good month! If I show any nail inspo photos, they somehow always get it spot on, or even better than the picture.Super quick and efficient as well, I went to a different salon near this one once before and they took almost 4+ hrs for a gel set and pedicure. At Joanne’s, you’re in and out within an 1 1/2 hr at most.They are so meticulous and give great service and care. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityNew to the DMV area! It’s been a struggle to find a good nail salon that offers quality, cleanliness, and professionalism, and I FINALLY find one! Joanne is super meticulous and highly skilled. Albeit driving 40 min to get here- it was well worth it! Will be returning!Service: Gel manicures

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueHonestly was super disappointed with my experience with this salon. I come from a family that does nails and used to work at my mom’s salon so I know what to look for in a good pedicure. I’ll provide a short summary of my experience and the full story below for anyone who wants to read more:Short Summary:-Refused to provide gel services and callus removal because of lack of time even though I made an appointment-Tech was rushing the entire time and did a terrible job shaping my nails and cleaning up my cuticles. She also kept checking the time when she was working-Tech used a dremel on my toenails and actually went too far and ended up nicking my cuticle-No menu was provided for the types of pedicure they offered. I wanted a full spa service that day to treat myself, but she just gave me their most basic pedicure-Towels were very stiff and coarse which didn’t feel good when she was drying my legs-I’m never coming backFull story:I made an appointment for a pedicure so they knew I was coming in (they didn’t ask me what type of pedicure or anything. Just said okay and what time to come). I get there and ask for a gel pedi. The lady starts to look at her calendar and tells me that they do not do gel pedicures. And here I am thinking that she’s lying because I read reviews before coming in and seen that people have gotten it before. Wanting to give them a chance, I said fine i’ll just do a regular polish. I get to the seat and she doesn’t even offer me choices of pedicures or anything. Just goes straight into cutting my nails. Not only did she hit my cuticle with the dremel and cause it to bleed, she also did a horrible job cleaning up my cuticles. At this point I was kind of upset and told her I didn’t want to get my polish done anymore and then asked if I could just get a callus removal and be done. She then looks at the clock and stares at it and I flat out then ask her if she has no time for it either. She really said “No sorry”. At this point i’m just super fed up with my experience and decide to just end the session and leave. I really tried giving them a chance because there were so many great reviews, but it was apparent to me that they didn’t want my presence around.
