I am very happy with my experience at the salon today. The extra special touches while having my hair washed, with the warm towel conditioning treatment and hand massage were quite lovely. My haircut and blow-out were done exceptionally well by Jason (the owner). This for sure will be my new salon for haircuts! It’s on the more expensive side for Rockland but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for! You wear your hair everyday so this is one area I do not believe in cutting corners 😉

When I went in for my appointment at JLK, I was ready for a change. Once I got there, a hair stylist named Ashley put me in her chair and we talked about what I wanted to get done. While she was foiling my hair, she and her coworkers made it feel like I was having a girls day with my friends. The service was incredible, the outcome of my hair even better. I love the way my hair looks and it’s all thanks to Ashley!

My hair was in really, REALLY bad shape when I came in for my appointment with Ashley. I told her the problems I had created and she just went to work. She knew exactly what needed to be done, executed it all perfectly and I walked out of JLK Salon looking like a human being again. And a pretty one at that. I also need to mention the sweet, STRONG woman who had the hardest job—getting my scalp CLEAN. I didn’t catch her name but she was magical. I got more treatments because I was in such bad shape but she was incredible. So sweet. Every staff member that was there today (1/17) are superstars. They all worked quickly but with precision and smiles on their faces. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ll be back in 5 weeks. Thanks again ladies!!!!

I’ve been going to Jlk Salon and to my stylist, Karen, for several years now and they’re consistently good. I can say I’ve never gotten a bad haircut from Karen. She’s an experienced, versatile hairstylist who really works with her clients to give them what they need. She’s professional and is warm and friendly without being overly familiar. Karen is wonderful and the Jlk staff overall are professional and pleasant.
