I wanted to try out a new black owned salon since I just moved to the area. I made an appointment the day prior. Once I arrived my nail tech was not present. I had to wait on her to come to the shop for over an hour.Once she arrived, there was no apology or anything. I received a stank attitude! As far as her services, I received a very mediocre gel set and pedicure. Not an relaxing environment. Very ghetto! It wasn’t worth my time or my money, never again! Also, I visited at the peak of the pandemic. Nobody had on a mask and the place wasn’t properly clean.

Ended up over-trimming my “ends” she was nervous, distracted and overdoing it with the scissors because this client, who had just finished getting her hair done wouldn’t stop chatting with her. I wish she would have told her she needed to focus. Overall I left with a poofy, chopped, and embarrassing “bob”. I cried. The beautician named Mz Tra is the WORST beautician ever – she should have her license revoked – she messed my hair up – she does not know how to style hair at all – I wish I can report her to the better business bureau – I wish I can give her negative stars

This was my first time going to J’Lenee Salon and spa. I was looking for someone to start my locs over and I came across Mrs. bird . She did a great job on my hair and did exactly what I asked for ,I love my hair and will be going back. The environment was very professional, And the owner was very nice. Mrs. Bird is an great Stylist If you have locs or looking to start them I recommend Mrs.Bird.
