I had a hydro facial and dermaplaning done by Jenny today and it was a lovely experience! In addition to the great service and amazing results, (my face is glowing and feels amazing!!) I first purchased a Groupon from Jenny to begin preparing for my engagement photos, and then my wedding. I scheduled my first appt and she canceled the morning off. While I was disappointed, I understood, but it slowly became an ongoing issue. She told me I didn’t need to purchase anymore Groupons off of the site, just to go through her. I did that & have one more service. I was last in right before my wedding, which was July 12, 2022. She went on maternity leave and told me to reach out in Sept for my last service. It was scheduled for Nov… she cancelled late the night before via text and then again, this last mid-Dec was the “rescheduled date.” Another cancel, but offering me a cleanser. I’m ready to just eat my coat and find someone else to get facials from. While I loved her work, she is not reliable as a business owner.

Jenny is amazing and she can do it all – brows, lashes, skincare, etc. You’ll be so happy you went to see her & will definitely have her become your main gal for all things beauty & pampering! I’m not a huge make up girl, but wanted my brows done – she knocked it out of the park and I’m obsessed to say the least! I’m hoping to add facials into a monthly rotation this next year and wouldn’t even think go to anyone else! I very much appreciate her pricing and the atmosphere of her place is so relaxing. You must see Jenny at JL Esthetics if you’re interested in lashes! My first experience with lashes wasn’t an ideal one; it was done elsewhere & she was there to fix them for me. Not only did she get basically a new set on me in under an hour, she did them so well that I’ve been back for a fill every 2-3 weeks. I wasn’t sure about continuing them after my first bad experience but she has renewed my confidence. She’s fun, sweet & professional. I have an upcoming microblading appointment that I’m looking forward to as her work with that is also amazing. Thanks J!

I had to take a trip to the ER a few days after I got them done and the nurses there were all like “I know you really don’t feel good but your eye lashes look amazing” LOL. Jenny was super nice and personable, I’m excited to go back!!

Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityGot a hybrid full set and it was done very quickly. Even after using the fan for 5/10 minutes, my eyes still burned and watered and it hurt to look up. Had I have gotten lashes before, I would have seen this red flag. Within a week, my lashes were falling out.. and falling out in clumps. A few hours before my fill appointment, she cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. The next day she cancelled again. We decided that Thursday at 3 and when I got there she was with another client, so I sat on the bench in the building for 30 minutes before I got up to leave. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and I understand life happens, but you can only take so much.Today I went to get my lashes filled elsewhere and they had to take the few lashes I had left off and do a whole new set (it’s only been three weeks so i shouldn’t have needed a full set by now). She said that the lashes were glued to multiple of my lashes so I was at risk of losing my natural lashes (which i don’t have many of) and developing traction alopecia. After my new full set, I got an aftercare kit where I learned you’re suppose to clean AND brush your lashes! Jenny told me to only brush mine when they’re clumped up together because if you brush them too much they fall out quicker.. makes me feel like the technique or something she’s doing/using isn’t quite right.At the end of the day, I do not recommend wasting your time here. I’m genuinely sad because Jenny seemed like a decent person and my lashes looked beautiful to me, but it’s not worth the risk and damage to your lashes, the few days they stay on for, and the constant wasting your time trying to reschedule / waiting for your appointment.Got a hybrid full set and it was done very quickly.
