I have been to this place a few times and it is now my go-to place for a haircut in the East Bay. To begin, this barbershop is extremely affordable, for the service provided, compared to other local barbers. A $25 men’s haircut, with a straight razor included, is unheard of anymore in 2022. I have never had a problem booking an appointment I wanted and walk-ins are are welcome. However, you may be waiting 15-45 minutes for the next open chair. For my haircut, I receive a mid skin/bald fade all around the sides, which usually weeds out the good from the bad barbers. I have always been pleased with the quality of work and the time they spend.

Today, I went there for haircut and their haircut service is pretty bad. They just used trimmer to cut my hair and be done in 5 minutes. I was so surprised how come they all finished everything in 5 minutes.

Hard to understand her speaking. And she showed no respect and no patience to understand customer needs. After two requests of follow-up modification, she got upset and cut my hair short like mowing a lawn, being like that’s what you meant right? And then blew the hair all over my body after taking away the cover cloth. Great job at humiliating your customer! I was being nice all the time until the very end. Yet I still paid them, though I really regret it! First time and definitely last time. Don’t recommend. Find some other decent place.

I have been coming to this place quite often I have done my hair with Rose, Kimmy, Helen and the other lady who works far right side of the shop they are all talented, polite and well mannered and of course well dressed too but the lady who works closer to the door. She is very rude and stereotype one time she cut my hair very roughly I told her to be slow cause you are hurting but she continued to do that. She has the worst communication that I have seen in barbershop

The couple of times I’ve been there, I’ve been waiting for too long for a haircut. You have to do appointment and if you can’t ge the appointment the same day you won’t get a haircut. The lady that cut my hair was nice, but for the waiting and trying to get an appointment is not worth it.
