I am an employee of Jim De’s Hair Salon. I can personally say he is a wonderful person. He now gives back to the community to care for those who once took care of us. Jim chose me for a, not only wonderful, but fulfilling position as stylist at the Greenfield Senior Living Community. One day a week he sends me to this lovely establishment to help our precious seniors look their very best. No matter our age, when we look better, we feel better about ourselves. I am blessed to be able to pamper them and shower them with hugs and attention they need. Jim makes no profit from this service and I feel this is a true reflection, not only of his character, but what a kind and giving man he truly is. Let me start by saying this: I’ll be back. I walked into their shop today only to be greeted by a smiling associate who was unusually warm and inviting. She offers me tea or coffee, and I sit in a nice chair in a comfortable environment and by this point I’ve already fallen in love with the place. I end up having to wait quite a while past my appointment time until I’m able to get my hair done because they were a little busy, but the wait was nothing; I would wait twice the time I did today for the same experience. During my wait, several of the stylists actually talked to me a little and made me feel even more comfortable to be there. When the wait was over, my stylist, Leah, was so informative. She taught me some things about how she was cutting it, and used a technique I had never heard about to make my hair thinner, and it worked amazingly! It’s almost as if she was reading my mind and cut exactly where I wanted. I’ve never been so happy with a haircut in my life. I left their building smiling ear to ear. I get a discount for getting a haircut where I work, but this establishment offers such an amazing product, I’ll definitely be back for more. Thanks to the entire staff of Jim De’s Hair Salon for creating an unforgettable experience!

This salon was amazing! My mom came in from Louisiana to visit, and I saw the aftermath of a terrible dye job that we bought her on a gift card for her birthday. While my family and I were exploring the Williamsburg area and enjoying Great Wolfe Lodge, I called to see if they could get her in for a color correction. Between Stephanie, and the salon owner Jim, she had the most wonderful salon experience that she has ever had. Jim took the time to explain everything step by step, as she was already spooked by her last salon visit. She left smiling and confident, and totally impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the entire staff. Awesome Salon!!!

I have been seeing Leah to get my hair fabulous. She does a wonderful job as does the entire staff at Jim De’s. You cant help but feel welcome when you walk in. Although you may be going in to see a certain stylist ( as I see Leah) the entire staff treats you as if you were their client as well. They are attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. I recommend Jim De’s to everyone!

I moved to Williamsburg 5 years ago, and in May 2010, I found Jim De’s Salon! Joshua cut and styled my hair all these years, and I get lots of compliments! I have medium length silver grey hair and Joshua told me never to put any color on it, to leave it natural. And it shines, is healthy and thick! And it was always easy to care for with minimum effort! Love it and Joshua!
