I came in with pre-dyed hair (dark brown) and wanted to go platinum/silver. I knew it was going to be tricky to get all the color out and to lighten it that much but Jeff and Li did a great job on both the cut and color! They were very meticulous & I felt safe in their hands. They don’t speak much English but Grace does and she was able to fluently translate what I wanted and what the stylists’ concerns were. The language barrier was never a problem. She gave great advice and feedback on what would suit my hair best. They spent the entire day on my hair and I am very satisfied with the results!! I will be coming back for sure!

The atmosphere is nice and peaceful. I came in with long, unstyled hair and a couple of reference photos, and I got a beautiful layered hairstyle! The hair wash was relaxing, and the barber was very meticulous and detailed when working. I would totally come again!

He is professional and patient. He treat each customer as unique as possible. I had my hair permed in his studio with $350 including tips I don’t know if it is too pricey since I haven’t been to hair studio for long time. But overall, my experience is good there. I highly recommend this place.

a friend recommended this place for haircuts and i went in for the first time today for a men’s haircut. there was a language barrier HOWEVER they were very kind and accommodating. they are all very skilled and the prices are very reasonable too. i left feeling great and satisfied with my hair. this is definitely going to be my go to place for haircuts now. i 110% recommend this business!

This was my first time visiting the salon and I had a wonderful experience!! After reading some reviews on my own I knew that there would be a language barrier, but that did not prohibit the team from getting what I wanted exactly right. Grace, who was super nice and welcoming, helped translate the entire time. They shared their suggestions with me and we worked together to accomplish the look I was seeking to achieve. I’ve also never had my hair done so meticulously – they wanted everything to be perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will 100% be coming back!!

I am very particular about hair styles. Many years ago, I went to Jeff to cut my hair in Philadelphia’s Chinatown store. I was very happy to finally find a master with such good haircut skills. He has been my only hair stylist ever since. He is very professional and patient. He has never let me down. I have to drive an hour and a half to find him for a haircut every time. Now I am very happy that he moved the store to Newark very close to where I live. The environment is very clean and the service is very good!
