Hello I am Jessica Allison. I’ve been a hairstylist since 1996. My passion is creating beautiful hair color. Also I enjoy cutting hair and delivering amazing hairstyles! In my profession I believe continuing education is so important. I’ve attended the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Scotland along with many hair shows and classes. I grew up in Chapel Hill but I have lived in Pittsboro since 1994. I have a wonderful husband and I’m a proud Mom of a daughter and son. Jessica is always friendly and cheerful. Salon is clean & tidy and beautiful. She cuts all my family’s hair including my difficult son who hates getting his hair cut and my autistic son who has difficulty vocalizing his wants. She is so patient. After my hair was washed, cut and blow dried in 15 minutes flat, I was charged $40 for a hair cut. The stylist was very pleasant, but it is absolutely not as advertised on the website.

Every time I go and get my hair done here I come out feeling like my best self! Somar is definitely the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. I can show her a picture of what I’m thinking and she executes it perfectly every single time! Salon Blue is adorable in the atmosphere and definitely feels like a high end store. I couldn’t recommend it more!
