Booked a nail appnt for June 16 on June 1, received an email confirmation and text. I mistakenly went to the salon on the 14, was advised I was two days early. That night I received a text that my appnt was denied. Believing this was a computer glitch I called the salon at 10 , was told she would CK and call me back. Just like many other comments on here, the customer service is awful. I have been looking for someone to give my curly head of hair some highlights for a while so I don’t have to drive 6 1/2 hours to get it done back at home. A friend of mine mentioned that this salon may have someone who could highlight curly hair. I then attempted to email the salon April 10th…nothing. Then I called them and left a message, my name, and a number…..nothing. I also direct messages them on their Facebook page on May 5th….still nothing. Today, I was downtown and close to the salon so I thought, “I’ll ask them there and they’ll be able to see my hair in person and determine if they could do it or not.” What I thought was going to be a welcoming conversation was, unfortunately, quite the opposite. I had to welcome myself in by saying hello, which was awkward, but fine because they were doing hair on clients in the salon. However, it’s not like their mouths were doing the hair. I then politely asked if I could ask a few questions IF they had time but if not I completely understood. Whoever I was speaking to had an unnecessary attitude towards me and told me they were all busy. That’s it. No “sorry we are a little busy at the moment, but you are welcomed to leave your name and number on a piece of paper and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can,” or “is it fine if you come back or call at this time of day when we’re available so we can answer those questions for you?” Nope, none of that was said. I left and said “I completely understand! Thank you!” Someone had to be polite and friendly because that’s definitely not the service that they preach there. Yikes!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI would recommend this salon to anyone looking for their hair or nails done. My mom worked there, so I knew all the workers there. She was very happy with her job because everyone was so friendly and treated equally. I only get my hair done there, and I will continue to for the rest of my life. Very clean, trendy, and extremely nice people. They give you exactly what you want with no mistakes. They are very focused on the customers needs. I have a very sensitive scalp, yet I have never felt uncomfortable when I go there. I’ve never got my nails done, but I am looking forward to it because I have heard extremely good things from other people. Jessica and company is the only salon I will go to! She was very happy with her job because everyone was so friendly and treated equally. I only get my hair done there, and I will continue to for the rest of my life. Very clean, trendy, and extremely nice people. They give you exactly what you want with no mistakes. They are very focused on the customers needs. I’m not the type of person to write reviews but here we are. I called inquiring about a service Jessica & Co. offered. I called during business hours. No answer. I left a message. In the meantime I found the business on Vagaro and scheduled myself for what I was interested in. I got an auto text later that evening saying my appointment was declined, w no reason given. No return call from my message. This has happened to me one other time at Jessica & Co. The service I was interested in isn’t offered anywhere else in Marquette, from what I know. I’m unhappy with their customer service. They must not need new clients.

Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueSince she’s too nice to say anything, I have to be the bad guy. My girlfriend had went there today, had a 2pm appt, didn’t get seated until about 45 minutes after she arrived. Not only did she have to wait (which really wasn’t a big deal) but when she was sat she was told she couldn’t get what she wanted because “there wasn’t enough time” when they were fully aware of what she wanted when they booked the appt for her. All she had asked for was a manicure and pedicure. when she was sat, she was told she couldn’t get the nail extensions because of “lack of time” and they originally told her they couldn’t do the pedicure either, but then gave her a quick one. to my knowledge she paid 90 bucks for not only what she didn’t want, but for an absolute bad job. apparently the lady claimed she had “20+ years” and it looks globbed on, and the nail art my girlfriend wanted wasn’t even asked where she had wanted it, just thrown on one nail on each hand.Since she’s too nice to say anything, I have to be the bad guy.
