Jesse Kirschner began at the Vidal Sassoon Academy, Santa Monica in 2004, furthering his studies with Sassoon education creative team, Hikari, Bumble+Bumble and TG focusing on the art of cutting and styling. Inside-out is his own unique philosophy of hair design which incorporates connecting with a person’s organic hair movement through multi-demensional dry cutting techniques creating internal structure. Each cut is completely unique, thoughtfully and precisely tailored to each individual to accent each person’s natural attributes and character. Jesse approaches color with the same expression- balancing, enhancing and complimenting the pre-existing spectrum of colour for a natural looking lived-in result that will grow out beautifully.

I love my hair! Jesse explained to me how he cuts hair and what he saw would be good for my hair specifically. When he was cutting I could see all the attention to detail he has and the genius/intuitive way he cuts hair. Jesse enhanced the natural wave my hair has and it’s so easy for me to style! Just got the best haircut of my life from Jesse! Seriously, this is the first haircut I’ve loved at the end of the session and it’s only going to get better after the first wash. I’ve got very thick, long hair and I’ve never been that excited by haircuts in the past. My hair usually ends up looking triangular and flat on top. Jesse had a very different approach, which he did a great job of explaining. I feel like he intuitively understood what to do with my particular hair. I learned a lot and now have a great haircut. Jesse is a true gem. He is an artist in every sense of the word. I’ve never had someone spend so much time with me before a haircut really diving into what it is I want. He is gentle and works gradually and I trust that he would never cut more hair off than we agree upon before the cut.
