After our first trip to see Carlos we have never felt the need or the want to get our haircuts anywhere else. Since moving to Indiana almost 5 years ago, I haven’t been able to find a good barbershop. I finally found my place. Yesterday was my first time going. I did a haircut and shave. Kyle was my barber. The atmosphere was very friendly. All the barbers were talking to everyone and all had a good sense of humor. Kyle took his time to cut my hair. He was very meticulous. It didn’t feel rushed. The best part was when he brought out the straight blade to trim up my neck. Its hard to find a place that will do this anymore. He also used a straight blade to shave my face. At the end he offered a few other services such as ear and nose hair waxing. I felt a little adventurous and tried waxing my nose hairs. Honestly, it wasn’t that bad. I may try waxing my nose hair again. It was a good time and worth every penny. The only downside is the waiting list. They are booked up a few weeks in advanced. After my experience, I understand why. They are that good and worth the wait.

Even though my oldest is a bit apprehensive about haircuts, Carlos always puts him at ease.After at-home haircuts for the last year, we ventured out for haircuts for both my oldest (with Carlos) and my youngest for his first ever cut (with Reid). I came here awhile ago and just realized i didn’t leave a review. My barber was Kyle and the guy is an artist. Carlos, the owner, and the woman at the front desk (didnt catch her name) are all so friendly and welcoming. I honestly have no idea what i paid (they obviously told me how much) because i didnt care. I loved my cut as much as i loved the atmosphere, the attitude, and the conversations. I won’t be going anywhere else and neither should you.

Carlos is the best barber I have ever been to. He takes his time to make sure he gives you the best haircut fit to you. Unlike some, you can tell Carlos truly has a passion for it, he’s very personable and welcoming, and the new shop is an incredibly relaxed environment in a great spot. I have had multiple people compliment my hair since I started going to him and my wife agrees that it has never looked this good. Would give 6 stars if I could!

Carlos has been cutting my hair for a little over a year now and has never disappointed. He is a great barber but an even greater person. You just can’t beat the kind of service he provides. On top of the service, the shop atmosphere is great. It’s like I’m going over and just hanging with the guys. The location is also great. It also has a great view of downtown Newburgh and you can even see the river from the shop. He really set the bar for what a barbershop should be. I don’t see myself going anywhere else to get my haircut ever.
