Called to make an appointment. I’ve never been to this salon and was excited to see if the good reviews were accurate… the woman I spoke to asked what time and day. I told her any day next week around 5pm would be great. Her response “I don’t have anything at 5pm next week. Thank you for calling.” Are you kidding me?! I will not be going here, EVER.

I went in 4 times total to have my nails done. Was even recommending this place to friends. The 3rd time I had shellac put on my nails within 2 days it was chipping off. I called and left a message to let Jennifer know. Benefit of the doubt and all because the first couple of times I had gone in there were no issues and I was satisfied. Once I had time to get back into the salon Jennifer had offered me $5 off because of my previous experience. When she went to ring me up she was charging me full price. I gently reminded her that she had offered $5 off and she rolled her eyes and said “whatever”. Seriously? That’s how you treat clients? I must not have been up to par for her. She had clients coming in and she knew their names and was talking around me. Again, I had been there 4 times at this point within 2 months and she had no idea who I was…I won’t be back and I won’t be bringing any of my 3 daughters. Business lost over $5… ♀️ I agree with a previous review… nobody deserves to be treated that way. I also agree with another reviewer who said the owner is nice to her select group of customers.

Jennifer, Julie and Liz are all very funny and talented women. Going to the salon and getting a small break to get my nails done here is like going to hang out with friends; it is so comfortable and they do such a fabulous job. I don’t know how I ever went anywhere else before this place is amazing. As long as I am in Walled Lake I will continue to go to Jennifer’s nails. I have gone 3 times now and I will continue to!

At first I thought this place was great. There was no wait. I didn’t even realize until I paid a really hefty tip that she had not even pushed back my cuticles. She just polished over them. Also, she did not even file my toes and as far as my fingernails, she barely filed them. She put on one coat of polish. I am not exaggerating, in 2 days they were already peeling.

I moved to Michigan recently and was looking for a new spot. I was do disappointed with every place I saw. Until I found Jennifer. She is amazing. There is no rushing to get your nails done and out the door. She’s detail oriented and will not let you out of the chair until you are completely satisfied with your nails. She is so sweet. They are just awesome. You will not regret youer visit!!!!!!

I’m super picky about where I’ll get my nails done because so many of the nail places in town are dirty. Jennifer cleans each chair, foot bath and the floor after every guest. She never reuses the pumice, individually packages the foot scrubs to prevent contamination and uses a foot bath liner. I also appreciate the added ventilation over each nail station, so when you walk in you aren’t knocked over by the chemical smell of acrylic. The best part is she’s just as meticulous about how well she does your nails as she is about her shops cleanliness. Make an appointment! There’s a reason she books up so fast.

My go-to nail place! I’ve gotten shellac from Julie, Jennifer and Liz, they are all amazing! Truly a gem in this area, I’ve been going here for about a year and I’ve never had a bad experience. They’ve got OPI and Essie among other brands. I recommend calling ahead so there’s no wait because this place is popular!
