We had a great experience here! Took my son for his first haircut at 11 months old and I was shocked at how perfect of a job Christian was able to do while my son was twisting and turning his head and trying to squirm out of my lap. A very handsome first haircut!

Used to go long before Jefe took over. Went on a busy Saturday, first mistake, usually go during the week. Waited 5 deep for Jose because he is the only one who can do my cut. I waited over an hour and Jose turns to me and says one of his friends is coming in and let him jump in front of me. This didn’t sit well with me as I was next in line. Jose turns to me and says my shop my rules. If I don’t like it go somewhere else. How arrogant to run a business that way. Sorry I was not a VIP. I waited patiently for over an hour and Jose says wait longer because one of his friends came in. A very poor business practice. Needless to say never went back as to not value my time and tell me if I don’t like it go somewhere else. Well guess what I never have been back That was almost 3 years ago and at $20 a cut plus tip. Jose in his arrogance lost close to $1000 in business in the three years I stopped going. I bought a clipper as don’t ever need to be treated like a second class citizen. Again poor business practice and way too arrogant. Train your people to do more than the basic cut and then people won’t have to wait for you. Never been back and never will.I guess when someone is so successful to be able to treat people that way. Good for you. So if you want to be treated like your time doesn’t matter go to this place.

I recently went to Jefes Barbershop for the first time after switching from a high priced salon to a low priced national chain. I no longer wanted to pay the high cost from a salon and wanted better quality when compared to the usual national cheapo chain shops. When I entered, it seemed like I would have a long wait with 5 or 6 people in front of me sitting on the waiting bench. But at that time they also had 5 different barbers working. I was up for my haircut after a very short wait. I went with some suggestions with broke from my usual haircut routine and things looked great. I went in to the shop with hat-hair so I noticed some uneven areas later that day. I went back the next day and they fixed it up free of charge and with a helpful, positive attitude. The ambiance is pleasing and the barbers vibrant. Looking forward to next time, even though it seems my hair keeps getting more and more gray.

I really enjoyed my first haircut at Jefe’s today. Rafa was my barber and he did an excellent job and really took his time making sure I got a cut I was satisfied with. I appreciate the friendly service and enormous attention to detail. Rafa’s not only an awesome barber but he’s a great guy as well. I will most definitely be returning!

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI’ve been going to them for over a year now and while I can say they are great with their technical skills, they are also arrogant. Very poor with service. Make me kinda feel as though I’m getting the service on their charity. Simply using “bro” in the conversation doesn’t mean being friendly. And not everyone gets a short haircut or fade.Today I was refused service by Rafa when I asked for a cleanup, coz I was growing hair and didn’t want to cut length. Why would you have it on your list if you wouldn’t offer it? Or does he not consider it worth his time? Appointment I made was with Chris who also didn’t seem to care (nor did Jose who I think is the owner who was also there), though he was standing right next to us and finished his previous client. He’s the one who asked me to sit with Rafa. Wonder what I ever did or said to them for them to treat me so badly. I don’t usually have any other conversation and always tip as well. Lydia finally offered and cut my hair.I recently had a friend whom I referred to this place also complain about not feeling comfortable and feeling insulted in some conversations.
