Wonderful experience! I was going to be a little late due to a faulty GPS and very busy traffic, and I called for help with directions and to apologize. The staff could not have been nicer, telling me not to worry and helping me navigate. The best part was my stylist, Bob. He is the ultimate professional. Very skilled, patient and truly listens to what you say. I never felt rushed, and he spent a great deal of time with me. Awesome!

I had my appointment with Megan and she was great! She gave me a beautiful haircut and even showed me some tips and tricks in styling my hair. Great conversation too. The overall salon is gorgeous and very clean. Highly recommend!

Booked me last minute! Had a hair emergency! I was with Lilly – an amazing hair stylist! She listened to what i was looking for an gave me her expert advice. I was asked if i wanted to be in a private room. Which i did! Everything was done privately – except for the hair wash. It would be nice to have sinks in the private rooms!

I have been to the Jean Paul Salon in Newtonville Plaza twice for color and toning (they use Goldwell products). It was so nice to have a treatment that was not harsh and with a strong chemical smell; it was actually pleasant and relaxing. Best part is they have hours (including Sun and Mon) that fit my schedule (both times same day appointment) plus multiple locations. Great service, skilled stylists and convenient, couldn’t ask for more!

I have been platinum blonde for decades. I went to one of the recommended blonde specialists and my hair was over processed and has since been snapping off from the crown and also shredding off from the bottom of my hair up towards the scalp. My hair continuously breaks off from the bottom making it impossible for my hair to grow out. Managers do not return phone calls. Avoid blonding services at all costs!
