This was my first time here and I must say I was not disappointed. Joyce and all the other ladies working in the shop are so nice and welcoming. The young lady that did my hair was already ready for me once I walked into the shop. And she was not rough with my hair and was quick! I love my sew in. This is my new braiding shop can’t wait to tell my friend and family. Come in trust me you won’t be disappointed oh and might I add how nice and clean the salon was!!!!!

I just got my hair braided today. The women there were extremely sweet, the shop was clean, and they braided my hair quickly while also making sure it was neat and looked according to the photo I showed them. I got my hair braided by Mel and towards the end, another woman helped finish with my cornrows. Mel was super nice and when I told her I was tender headed, she braided a bit less tight and added extra mousse at the end to my braids to help with the tenderness. The owner was also really nice and the shop had good positive vibes all around. I will definitely be coming back to get my hair redone!

This was honestly the best hair salon I’ve ever been too, the shop looks beautiful from the exterior and interior. As soon as I entered they attended to me, and made sure to check every so often to ensure that I was satisfied with the progress on my hair. They handled my hair with care, and they were very gentle. Not only were the braids beautiful, they did it very fast. They were very welcoming, I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone I know.

I visited from out of town today to get my hair done and I have to say Joyce was so polite. Shop was clean. She was patient in answering all of my questions. I suffer from hair loss so I wanted to make sure she would be able to do exactly what I asked and work within my budget and she did just that. I also had a sew in weave in my hair, and she advised they would remove, and wash my hair.

JDelight is one of the best hair braiding salons on the east coast Jersey/NY/Philly area. I’ve been to many and few have been as talented, fast and kind during appointment. Elizabeth did a great job with my hair; it only took 5 hours to do mid-back length medium mixed color box braids. My appointment was 9 am and we were done at 2:30. Definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying OMG! I’m glad I found this place. I called and got my question answer right away. After finding out the price and getting my appointment set for the next day, I got there and one of the amazing lady took me in welcoming me and all. No lie she got started right away and finish my box braids in 2 in a half hour!!! Shocking right, but it’s facts. I’m so glad my hair came out like I wanted it to come out it was even better!

After taking my granddaughter to a lot of different braid shops and being so dissatisfied, I stumbled across Jdelight. It has been four weeks and her hair still looks as it did when she walked out the shop. We are all very pleased and although the shop is an hour away from where we live–I will be happy to drive my granddaughter Maiyin back for other appointments. The staff was also very courteous and professional!
