Found JC’s Palace a few weeks ago. Janelle (the owner) was so welcoming to both my daughter and I. The salon is nice and so is the ambience (music on point. Sorelle is the stylist that did my daughters hair both times and it came out beautifully. Definitely a go to if you need to get your hair braided. Box Braids

I had been searching for a place to get my daughters hair braided. I found this establishment on google, read all the amazing reviews, and decided to call. The owner answered the phone and I was able to book an appointment for the same week. She was extremely pleasant and didn’t mind answering all my questions as I was new to the process. The pricing was clear and no additional fees were added at the end. On the day of the appointment, we were welcomed at the door with pleasant smiles. The owner washed my daughters hair prior to braiding. They were very accommodating, allowing my daughter to eat throughout the process. My daughter is very shy and usually doesn’t like to be left during a hair process but she was totally fine. The owners daughter was there and she kept my daughter company. The end product exceeded my expectations. She did an amazing job! I would definitely go back. My daughter got her hair braided in early July and they still look amazing after half a summer of fun. If you are looking for a place that offers professionalism, cleanliness, and affordability this is the place for you. This review was long over due.

What a wonderful experience the minute I walked into the salon. The salon was incredible, warm and welcoming. The music was on point. This time I got my hair colored and twisted. Janelle doesn’t take walk ins but I lucked up on a Saturday and I’ve discovered a gem ! 1st (& most important ) my hair looks amazing , exactly like described, doesn’t hurt , and she perfectly blended parts of my hair that was thinner than others. The vibe is relaxed and urbane. Janelle is friendly and takes her cue from her client. She’s a great conversationalist, but you can easily close your eyes and relax, if that’s your preference.
