I took my grandson over there to fix his hair cut and one of the lady’s didn’t charge us. So great full cause the kids salon messed his hair up the night before. She saved the day he was was scheduled for pictures that afternoon. Wish I could remember her name .

Made appointment at 11 waited 10 minutes to even get checked in. Got checked in and sat for 30 minutes. One stylist checked on a Elizabeth??? (not me). I got up asked what tone my appointment was and left, ridiculous.

The manager cut my son’s hair I pulled her to the side and told her he dealt with depression and anxiety. He does online school due to his last haircut in which they cut it all off. She said she dealt with depressed clients. So I told her this was his first haircut ever since the dramatic incident with somebody cut all his hair off. So what she did was just cut a little off the sides of the bottom did not taper it up did not clean it up or line him up he has a fro and she said that she worked with many afros. She slightly cut the sides and along the top and the back she didn’t cut none of the other hair just around the sides like I asked but she still needed to clean it all up and lined it up and taper it up so she charged my son $35 and he gave her a $15 tip. You guys need to give me my son’s money back that doesn’t even make any sense I could have done that at home.

Really disappointed with the quality of hairdressers recently. I’ve been coming to this location for 2 years now. But I’ve noticed lately the people I’ve been getting are less and less experienced. And the prices have gone up as well. A couple weeks ago I got one of their $28 haircuts. when I remember it used to be $21. And I know they price by rank of staff member, but the haircut I received was not worth $28. She gave me a bowl cut and I asked her to even out my fringe/side-bangs. She just completely chopped them off. I was so unhappy with the results. I left the salon embarrassed. I definitely did not receive a quality haircut or professional hairstylist. I used to love this place because their walk-ins were always simple/available, and the people who took care of me really took care of me. I normally felt confident in whoever would cut my hair, but now I can’t even recommend this salon. They seemed like they genuinely knew what they were doing and considered my preferences. But for some reason the hairdressers I’ve seen the last two times have left me with horrible looks and it’s going to take me months to grow my hair back to it’s original length. I’m upset and will no longer be coming here for any further hair business.

Last Saturday I went from pretty long hair to a short length I have never had before. Not only did she take time to work with me on what I want, but her detail oriented approach had me leaving with probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. She was also extremely pleasant to talk to throughout the experience, and very attentive/professional. I have been a customer of the Penney’s salon for a long time. I used to go to another location but I started coming to this one because of my stylist changing stores. Ariel has been styling my hair for well over 10 years and she is the best! My hair is naturally curly and no other stylist has ever been able to cut and style my hair and show me how to take care of my hair at home the way she has. She always takes the time to work with me and recommend products that actually work for my hair and she always has ideas when I’m not sure what to do with it. She’s always very professional and accommodating and I won’t see anyone else!
