Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueOne week ago, my daughter and I went in for a haircut. We made an appointment and we arrived 7 min late. Our appointment was at 11:45 am, we got there at 11:52 am. The lady we had the appointment with, Maria, reluctantly took us in. We told her what we wanted, showed her pictures, and she got to cutting. I noticed her struggling between texturing and trimmings on my daughter’s hair. The pattern was to texture, but then she would cut that off right after and repeat. But it didn’t seem to be a big deal until she got to my hair. First she argued with me over whether my hair was flat or wild. I explained that my hair was silky and flat. She argued that she didn’t think so, as though she would know better than I would. Then she proceeded to make my long Bob request into, I am not even sure what she gave me. It cannot even be considered a Bob style. At some point she gave me a mullet on the majority of the back and I had to show her the picture again and explain what I wanted. At this point, I was horrified and I wanted to cry because the long Bob front was too short compared to what I had requested. About 3 inches too short!!! How do you fix that? When I told her not to cut more because it was too short, she got upset and said they normally wouldn’t have taken us in if we showed up late! What?!!! She said 15 min was the cut off time. We were 7 min late and what does that have to do with her ruining my hair!?! My hair is so short! And I have to deal with this for the holidays! My daughter’s hair is completely uneven .on top of that, she took an extra 45 min on my hair with a very confusing pattern of texturing, then cutting off what she just textured. She kept doing that over and over until she had cut too much! About 1/8 of my hair is slightly longer than my shortest piece. That is not a Bob cut!! I am devastated! On top if that, our appointment should have ended at 1:15 pm and we were there until past 2! Please note the choppy horror story that is my hair right now in the pictures. I didn’t want to post it, but this is not something I want anyone else to go through.
