Do NOT go here. They will mess up your hair super bad and then threaten you when you tell them they messed up your hair. Make you leave the store , then call you on private and threaten you more!!! I have black splotches everywhere it’s so horrible, she bleached my roots (even tho I wanted them dark and made them almost orange) the pink is also horrible and the hair cut was so un even…Ayesha does NOT know how to do hair at all. She was so mean and rude and horrible to me in front of my 3 year old. I cried when I was told to leave the store. It was so embarrassing…. she said “I knew when you walked in you were gonna be a terrible customer” all because I told her my hair was messed up I was treated this way. So many customers were watching her tell me all of this…. and even other workers..I’m not from Conroe so I decided to try something new but this was a huge mistake!!!! Waste of time. The manager also keeps calling me and threatening me with his little attitude. My hair is so rough , splotchy and uneven. Thankfully I found someone to fix it. I will be leaving these reviews everywhere and I also have a video of everything she told me and the way I was treated for evidence. I knew I would need it once she started cussing at me! Stay away and be ware!!!

Amenla Imchen has been my colorist for over a decade. I’ve had long hair for most of my life and let it go grey a few years ago. I decided to go short last year. Because I have thick, curly hair, it’s a real challenge to get a short cut that looks good straight out of the shower and requires minimal styling. She gave me a short cut in December 2021 that grew out perfectly, and again in March of this year. For the summer, I just asked for a super short cut and it’s fabulous. She did a razor cut, which works incredibly well for my texture and keeps it shape, whether it’s wet or dry. Amenla cuts my hair the way it grows, so that it looks good regardless of the length. I highly recommend her as a colorist and stylist, regardless of what kind of hair you have.

Amen Imchen is my stylist and she has done such a great job with getting my natural hair back healthy. Amenla at JC Penney Salon in Conroe has cut my hair for years (she used to be at JCPenney Salon in Huntsville, but moved to the Conroe store when Penney’s closed their Huntsville store). She cut my hair in January and it still looks good in June! I’ll go to her again in August (and more often once this Covid goes away). I don’t color my hair, but I’ve seen some of her work and it’s lovely. Ask for Amenla – you’ll enjoy the attention she gives to you and to her work, and you’ll leave looking great!

I wanted highlights and lowlights. Kayla ended up just giving me highlights, which pretty much turned me into a blonde. My hair has lots of volume, but its kinda thin, which i told her multiple times. I’m guessing that she forgot that i wanted auburn in my hair as well. I had to go back. She did not do as i asked. Before i went back up there, she tried to push me off a couple more days, so i asked if there was someone else there to do my hair. She then came up with time to do my hair. Once i got there, she brought me back immediately. She ended up putting Mocha in my hair to take away some of the blonde. The final look was better than the blonde, but still wasn’t what i wanted. She also told me that we couldn’t put auburn in there because it would turn the blonde to a weird color. If she would’ve done it right the first time, i would’ve got what i wanted. I also found out that she had asked to get off early for a dinner date. Very irritating. Waste of time and money.
