My appointment ran late because the receptionist sat me down and didn’t let my stylist know I was there. My stylist did a great job on my hair and I appreciated that part but when I booked the appointment, the price was one thing and she added an extra $30 and never even consulted me about it. She used Olaplex shampoo and conditioner on my hair and charged $20 for that…..I use that already so I didn’t need that to be used on my hair and be charged extra for it. Before you go charging people extra for things, you better discuss it with them.

I went in for a haircut 2 days ago, at check in I was informed that appointments were mixed-up and asked me if it’s OK to switch stylists, I said ok since I don’t know either one. Juleanna was the one who cut (chopped) my hair. She cut it way shorter than what I asked for. I asked for layers but she did none. Then I went home checking all that then I find the sides are longer than the back. I called to talk to a manager to see how to get my hair fixed, I was told that the manager is out till July 6th, my options were to either reschedule with same stylist (which I declined to make same mistake twice) or wait till manager is back to possibly refund my money. I said I don’t want money back I want my hair fixed. I was hung up on. Now to wait and see if I get a call back when manager is back on July 6th. Have to live with my hair looking chopped until then.

Very bad management. After messing up my hair, my re-do appointment got canceled for 7 times over 2 weeks. And finally when my appointment time comes and i call twice to confirm, i show up to the salon and rudely in a very unprofessional way i been told that hey your appointment was canceled! I love this salon and my stylist, Shannon Kelly. I have been her client for many years, with appointments consistently every 6 weeks. She colors, highlights, cuts, styles (even major style changes/makeovers )…you name…and it ALWAYS turns out beautiful!!! Shannon is professional, listens to her clients wants/needs, and truly cares about making me look amazing. I have people stop me and say how great my hair looks all the time. I have NEVER had to go back for a “fix” and I can not say enough good things about her skills. My entire family gets their hair cut by Shannon and she always does a wonderful job. She is a Master Stylist for a reason, possessing 20+ years experience, and well-deserved. I recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you, Shannon, for always making me look like a million bucks!

Shannon Kelly has been my hair stylist, as well as the rest of my family’s, for over 8 years and has always done a wonderful job! She’s always done my hair exactly how I asked for and I trust her completely. She is always willing to accommodate to my very difficult schedule and has sacrificed her time off for me and my family countless times. Her compassion and her dedication to her clients is rare and I consider us lucky to know her. Even my 92yr old grandmother enjoyed going to Shannon, not just for the hair cut but just to talk to her and see her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone; that is why my family and I have stuck with her for so long.

I have been going to Kuno at JCPenney for many years and she’s the best hairdresser I have ever been to. I cannot recommend her enough. Not only does she do hair well but she is also very compassionate with her clients and listens to what they want regarding their hair. She’s very talented and I highly recommend going to Kuno to get your next haircut!!!

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI scheduled my appointment through the website for 3:30 on Sunday. I arrived at 3 checked in and wasn’t in the chair until 3:45 pm. I left the salon @6:30pm. I asked for layers + face framing bangs got neither. I asked for an accent piece got neither. She wanted to charge $120. I said I would pay for the cut but couldn’t justify paying for the accent piece bc it’s not even visible. She also added an additional $10 for iron work bc she said the texture of my hair was very difficult to work with. I always blow dry my hair. I blow dry it with the revlon hair dryer brush within 10min. So it’s a load of bull that my hair texture was a problem. She also had asked if I wore glasses to which I replied I wore contacts. She said that I could see the colored accent piece had I been wearing my glasses. I still don’t even feel confident about my hair cut bc she only cut off about and inch of hair but I got charged an additional $15 for it. On top of that Tina wanted me to come back to “fix” the accent piece that no one can even see. What a joke this salon is. Overall I got nothing that I asked for. Called over 4 hours before closing, was told that no one could cut my daughter’s hair. I sat on hold for almost 20 minutes before I tried to call back. I understand COVID is the excuse that you are riding for the past 3 years, but ask questions, offer solutions before you are rude on the phone, to a regular customer that over tips and normally gets his disabled daughter spoiled by you.
