Just Say No and just go to Cherry Blowdry Bar in Frisco or Gabriel Ontiveros Salon in Plano if you have natural hair or just black people in general. First of all, Ms. Dion has a nasty attitude with children and she was 30 minutes behind schedule. She needs another job! She was combing my kids head like she hated them. Mad at the world and being nasty and cursing at Ms. Angie (who is a very sweet person). Ms. Dion is very unprofessional. But overall as a salon, their prices are way too high for their skill level. Why pay extra for every little thing and you can go somewhere else and get the total package with a professional master stylist. I could have saved $140 for 2 washes and two blowouts. I pay that once a month for 4 blowouts with styling from a professional master stylist at Cherry Blowdry bar (Ask for MeeCee, Aylcia, or Brooklyn). And when they leave they look like they have had a perm. And they do your hair under a hour. Now when you want a perm, hair color, and your ends cut with a blowout and a professional master stylist, you go to Gabriel and ask for Terrance who stays booked! Stop wasting time and money on garbage stylist like Ms. Dion!!!! Never again!!!! The 1st picture is JCPenny and the second is Cherry Blowdry bar.

Wow has this salon gone downhill! Before the pandemic, I liked it! Yesterday I wet for an “express cut” and an olaplex treatment. The stylist was 25 minutes late, so I didn’t have time for the olaplex treatment! She didn’t wash my hair, she just snipped two inches off the bottom dry, it took roughly 5 minutes, and I was charged 40.00. (Their website says Express Haircut $25 & up.) Good customer service would have been a discount for making me wait almost half an hour. Don’t go here, total ripoff and waste of your precious time.

I’m posting this late but wanted to share my experience. I got my hair cut here by Chanda in March and I have been trying to grow it out to this day (end of September). My layers are so choppy and uneven and I’m embarrassed to wear my hair down. I am scared to return to this salon due to the extremely poor quality of cut I received the last time. I tried to have it fixed a couple months ago, but I was ignored for 2 hours after checking in for my appointment and finally walked out without getting a cut. It’s very disappointing considering I’ve been to other JCPenney salons and had a great experience.

I love Penney’s salon I have been going there for years now. I called on Sat to make an appt for my daughter’s hair for homecoming. I was able to get two apps that day for updos. They looked amazing. They also have color experts with a great experience. A very large selection of hair products to purchase. I love Penneys salon and will continue going to them for all my family’s hair needs.

This was my first time at this salon. I booked an appointment online and was able to get a weekend appointment two days out! I had the pleasure of having Ashley as my stylist. Although she’s been licensed for just over a year she was extremely detailed, took her time and did an excellent job with the highlights I came in for. I had a hair color just few minutes ago . I have been going to jcpenny salon for a while in different cities but i do regret going today .. this indian lady did my root touch hair color for the same price as i pay for full hair dye normally, by making excuse that she has to do my hair style and wash . I may go to jcpenny but never this lady . Instead of listening to me and what i want she keeps questioning me and telling me as if i do not know anything or its first time i am getting a hair done… really mad at my experience..

Had a great experience with Mai this morning! (wash/cut/blowdry) My hair was looking pretty long and tired, every salon/stylist I went to previously would just follow the same haircut I had: bangs cut straight across, and length cut about an inch off the length- yawn… but Mai took the time to look at my hair, the shape of my face, and listen to what I like and dislike. She made great suggestions for layering my bangs which now taper properly on the sides, a much shorter length, and tips to style my hair for more volume. I ended up with a beautiful blunt cut that looks great on me. I feel so great, and have had many compliments at home and work. Thanks so much Mai! I will be back.
