Miranda is the most knowledgeable and helpful stylist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I’ve seen Miranda at least 5 times by now, the first was a color correction where she changed a damaged, harsh ombre to a beautifully blended, perfect balayage. Any time I bring in a photo that I want for cut/color she executes each one flawlessly. My “after” pictures have been used on Pinterest! I have SUPER fine hair and a dry scalp. Every product she’s recommended me has made a significant difference. I’ve asked dozens of questions about hair styles, colors, up keep, anything you can think of and she is always patient and explains to me in a way that I understand. I don’t personally use vivid or bright colors, but her portfolio is outstanding. I recommend her to any hair type, color or style.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis is by far the WORST place to ever go. I would never even allow my dog there that’s how bad it is. Do NOT go! The front desk girls have no idea what their doing. They will not go ask a stylist if they can stay late or come early if they are booked. It takes them literally 10 mins on the phone to figure it out. My stylist left without warning in which I was disappointed. I booked an appointment to try someone new and unfortunately I had to cancel not once but twice. First time because of covid and second time because I had a death in my family. I rescheduled my appointment only for the embarrassing manager to call me to chastise me about if I reschedule my appointment again I won’t be able to make another appointment and I will be treated as a walk in. Well things went south after that. I told her worry about your staff that you can’t manage for starters and calling people at 9pm at night to confirm an appointment is unprofessional. I was disgusted with the “manager” calling me to discuss something that shouldn’t be discussed. I never cancelled minutes before and when I cancelled I did it an advance or called the day or two before. They are completely disorganized and the front desk is very uneducated about products and services. They can’t manage to fit clients in a timely fashion with stylists. This place fell apart and as I said I wouldn’t recommend anyone at all to this establishment. Even if they offered a free service I wouldn’t even do that. The only stylist that is worth a damn that is there now is Jessica. Other then that they need to shut down to it’s entirety. The lack of professionalism and not being able to complete simple tasks like making an appointment in less then 7 mins is sad. Stay away from the alley salon because that’s what it is. The “manager needs to be fired” I am also lodging a formal complaint to jcpenney headquarters and the BBB plus other social media to spread the word. Critical: QualityI got my partial highlights at that location. Maria who sits at the right hand side as soon as you enter the salon did my hair. she was very unprofessional. She charged me close to $200 dollars for my bangs and highlights. She kept saying I have a lot of hair and it’s going to cost me way more. They gave me a different price when I walked in and she kept increasing her price. And the highlights didn’t even come up the way I wanted. I was very disappointed and will never come back to them.
