I did not like how the checking out process went, I had my hair colored for the first time and I was quoted $90 by the stylist with glasses and when we were going to pay it bumped up to $130 out of nowhere! The stylist DID NOT communicate to me about adding anything extra to my hair and the cost of it, otherwise I would not have gotten my hair colored. It was very unprofessional that I wasn’t told. I don’t think I will be coming back here since they want to be slimy and not communicate.. bad hair stylist for not telling me.

I booked a haircut and highlights, and hair color with Aldona. I was very disappointed with my haircut. I went back to her for a second appointment expressing my concern thinking she would fix it. She did not instead she said I had a colic. I have never had a colic in my hair. It was not cut correctly. I continued to have her touch up the color but not cut my hair. She dried my hair and used a flat iron to try and fix my problem. Not only did she charge me $10 extra at check out for the flat iron without telling me but charged me a higher rate for my service. Really? I will not be coming back to JCPenney or Aldona again. I gave 2 stars for the hair color. I went to another place, they corrected what Aldona did wrong and my hair once again is great. I’m 64 years old , I know in all my years I have never had a colic. I gave her a second chance . It didn’t work out. I do not recommend Aldona for haircuts or being ethical on additional services.

Chanel was the lady who cut my hair, I am not by any means picky. I work in retail and know people can be. I had long healthy hair and need a trim and some layers. She completely did a horrible job on layering my hair. Multiple times a week I get asked who cut your hair. Or why is your hair so uneven. And it’s embarassing. She legit cut a whole layer of hair going across the back and that is all. Didn’t blend or anything. I called and made an appointment. I even asked the girl on the phone is she good & her response was oh yes she is a senior stylist. Note to yourself do not get a hair cut from her.

I made an appointment online. Tried to call to check the appointment time and no one answered the phone. Called again 30 minutes later and it turned out I missed my appt by five minutes. There was a problem with the type of style that I wanted but we changed that over the phone and the person told me to come in anyways.

I went for an eyebrow wax and the girl burned my skin with the wax…She did not know what she was doing. She didn’t even shape them. I have to go get them redone, but first have to wait for the skin to heal! If you go for eyebrow wax, make sure you get someone with experience!
