JC Penny’s in Grand Forks was really easy to work with. When I called to make an appointment they were very friendly and professional, that gave me several options for appointments. They even gave me a courtesy call when their was a mix up with appointment times. I felt like they treated me like a valued customer. Ashley cut my hair and it came out great! She was quick and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it before she was done. I would recommend JC Penny’s hair solan to any of my friends or family.

Got a haircut by Leah and loved it and loved her everyone there is so nice and Leah was so sweet I never go to professionals due to bad experiences in the past and I felt so taken care here and absolutely love my haircut prices are really good the place is clean and a great place to go to will be going there from now on!!! I needed just a fast Flat Iron Job done on some short hair for a Picture and they got me in quick and didn’t charge me 35$ as you would a style on an adult but I squeezed by with a kids cut ..totally appreciate that Thanks Penny’s Salon.your AWESOME

The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful when I asked them about what time they could get me in, and how much it would cost before i got my hair done. (They were spot on with the estimate btw!) The Barber who did my hair was very kind and did an amazing job on the cut! You definetly get your money’s worth at this place and i will be going here next time I need to do so :]

If the cost wasn’t so high then I would really like this place. But $26 for Amen’s haircut is too much. Even with a shampoo. The appointments are plentiful however. That’s probably because of the cost. The few times I’ve had my haircut here The stylist have been nice enough but the quality of the haircuts is just mediocre.

I had an appointment the Friday before Easter. I wanted to dye my hair blue which is completely crazy to me. My stylist was super excited to do a dark blue on my hair and really encouraged me to do what I wanted, even though I was concerned it was a little crazy. I loved my hair! It was great on that first day… and second day… hey, third day too. The color came out of my hair so extremely quickly. Within 10 days my hair was green, which was super disappointing. The most disappointing thing about the whole process is that she dyed my hair blue (no bleach, just dyed over my brown hair), trimmed my hair which was half way down my back… and charged me $206. I payed $206 dollars (before tip) to have my hair blue for 10 days and green for the following days, and a hair trim. I was really disappointed and looking back, I wish I would have challenged how expensive it was because it wasn’t worth it. I don’t think I would come back for that type of service. Maybe just a haircut?

Wasn’t satisfied, I wanted my hair to be dyed bright all the way through and instead it was faded halfway through and she said it looked like a color melt but that’s not what I asked for. Still, she was sweet so I didn’t complain. Try white horse, save your money. If I could afford to have it fixed, I would. She also refused to dye and wax my eyebrows on the same day, despite me saying I’ve had it done professionally and had no issues.
