The worst haircut I ever had….. Hairstylists are not professionals they are actually came from the streets and dont know how how to handle the hair before haircut. They charge me like 25$ for a haircut which doesn’t include hairwash or blow dry or a hair setup. I am so frustated with the salon and people in here. This is my review to others so that people don’t get upset.

I recently went in for a cut and highlight. I haven’t been to this salon in about 15 years, so I took an appointment with the only woman available, Lula. It was the most unprofessional salon experience of my life. Not only did she completely screw up my color – to the point where she told me I could continue to return so she could tone and tone again in order to fix the precise brassy color I said I DID NOT WANT – but she was so aggressive while washing my hair that my neck went into a complete spasm; I left with a headache and vertigo so bad that I had to take prescription strength ibuprofen. When she cut my hair, she pulled on my head so hard that every muscle hurt when I stood up. I literally got in my car and could not drive. I felt like I had been on a rollercoaster. She was on her cell phone the entire time, walking away claiming she had a teenager she had to talk to. I told her my financial limit upon walking in, and she continued to push products on me. I gave her a 30% tip and was practically snubbed by her when I handed it to her. She did a deep condition for me for free, but nothing was worth the discomfort and disappointment I felt after leaving. I thought I was overreacting, but I have recently come to know she has done this to NUMEROUS clients. Why this woman is continuously given business is beyond me. I’m convinced people are being too kind (like I was) to complain. I will NEVER take an appointment with her again, and I will pass this message along as far as I can until I see some action being taken. J.C. Penney has a decent salon, but she’s tainting it. I had a wonderful experience with a different stylist from there recently, and that’s when I realized just how horribly I was treated by Lula and the disregard she had for my physical well-being, comfort, and my value as a customer. Let’s just say: if I could give this zero stars, I would.

Too bad I can’t give a minus star, I am just now getting over the anger of having my hair layered. When I told Pegi, I wanted it bobbed. Plus I came in 30 minutes early, Pegi double booked 2 teen brothers, and they were sooo late, that I sat there for an hour with color on my roots, until Pegi decided to get the wash girl to wash my hair, I mentioned that my neck was hurting, (whatever happened to placing a towel on the washbowl indent??), she didn’t get all the conditioner out, before walking away, then Pegi proceeds to cut my hair, layering, when I asked her, ARE YOU LAYERING MY HAIR??, She said yes, I said I wanted it bobbed, her reply, “I don’t know why, you want it bobbed? I am paying for it!!! So now my hair is wrecked, and my time wasted.
