My grandson had an appointment here for a wash and deep conditioning, when I called to make the appointment I asked if they had someone who knows natural hair, the lady replied yes, so we get there and this girl did not comb my baby hair good!!! He has long thick hair and when she finished his hair it looked like a child had done his hair! Well you can only imagine how disappointed I was when I saw the finish look Obvious she didn’t know!!!!! Was a waste of time⏳ and money will NEVER go back!!! I had to recomb his hair!

I went there today for a walk-in and was very pleasantly surprised. Ally did a wonderful job and made me feel comfortable. She actually went above and beyond when it came to my hair. It can sometimes be difficult to find a hair stylist who actually listens to what exactly you want, but she was attentive and did an excellent job. She even wrote down a phone number I needed to memorize due to an important phone call that had come in the middle of my haircut! Will definitely come back.

1st off: it’s $32 for a wash cut and blow dry by a “Designer Stylist” and $37 for a wash cut and blow dry by a “senior or experienced stylist”. There are different levels of stylist and that’s why the prices vary. I was told it would cost 32 and ended up paying 37. Very PO’d by that. Allyson was nice and personable. I told her I did not want A-line shape, but she cut it that way anyway. I did not ask her to correct it, because I did not want my hair to be any shorter. It looks like one side is slightly longer than the other. She didn’t take her time with my layers. My hair is nice, but not what I was expecting. I may return because the hours are convenient. My usual stylist is cheaper and better but her hours are inconvenient for my schedule. Hence why I gave jcpenney a shot.
