I gave this place a chance because everywhere else was booked. I called ahead, even though they accept walk ins, to make sure someone could take me for a blowout. The young lady on the phone said she could do it. When I got there 10 minutes later, she had left so they sent me back with a woman who wasn’t even on the clock. I said several times that I specifically wanted a blowout, not just a blow dry. The lady never did understand what I was saying, half way blow dried my hair, left me with wet roots and frizzy ends, and charged me $32 dollars for it. I paid because I don’t refuse to pay for services, but I will not be back.

Second time I had my hair cut and styled by Mikela, and she did a great job both times. I like that she curls my fine/curly hair instead of straightening like most places want to do. Their deep conditioning treatment is also a good one. I will be back. Haircut, Hairstyling

I wanted to wait a month or so before I gave my review. I will start by saying that I am an African-American woman, and I’ve been to the salon twice when relaxed and once when nature. During my time relaxed, I had a pleasant experience for the most part. However there was one time where I was left with soaking wet hair for at least 30 minutes while my stylist worked on another client. That turned me off from the salon, and I hadn’t been back for two years.

Do not make an online appointment because they will not honor it. I was ready to pay over $125 for services and I usually tip well also, but they told me they could not keep my appointment because it was too late. First off I made the appointment over an hour before I arrived and I arrived thirty minutes early, so why was I not at least called so I could make other arrangements? Then they told me I could come back the next day….ummmm no, I am not driving thirty minutes to come back when you just wasted close to two hours that I could have been home with my kids. All it would have taken was one simple phone call.

If you make an appointment, make sure to bring twice as much money as they say it will cost at the time you made the appointment. As soon as you walk in the door, the cost jumps up, it almost doubled today. And don’t count on actually seeing who you booked your appointment with. There will be some kind of excuse as to why they’re not there. Today’s excuse was she must not have realized she had an appointment. Really? I drove 30 minutes one way, wasted my time and gas, and she forgot she had an appointment. Save yourself the trouble and go to a real salon.
