All of the girls were nice. But Erma was my hair stylist I got a balayage and styled. She took me on last minute notice. I am so grateful for that. And everything from there was perfect she had nice conversation the whole time, took her time and showed me different colour samples to make sure it was what I wanted she definitely takes pride in her work as she should and very professional and knowledgeable about hair. I felt welcomed and listened to. Please if you are considering any type of service see Erma! I had old box dye of two different colors in my hair and she got it right out. The health of my hair felt better when I left than when I went in. I know this is a long review but I can’t stop looking at and feeling my hair I am very very happy and pleased with the results. I usually never let anyone touch my hair from all of the bad jobs that’s been done to it especially having curly hair but let me just say my experience as a first time customer was nothing less than amazing. Had an appt to just wash, blow dry and style my hair for an event. Only wanted my long hair curled in the back.. Stylist was great and even massaged my scalp but I did not like what she did to my hair overall. Cannot believe they charged me $50 for this service. Would not recommend going there for this service. Called as soon as they opened to make an appointment for my mom. Wanting to get her in as soon as possible, I was told to arrive a few minutes early because her last customer had not arrived as of yet. we arrived 10 minutes early and much to our chagrin, the stylist had her customer in her chair. Being a former and experienced cosmetologist, I didn’t think too much of it and decided while my mom waited for her APPOINTMENT to begin, I (AS A WALK-IN) would also get my hair done. Within minutes, I was taken to the back for shampoo & condition. I was back in the stylist chair getting a blow out and then flat-iron when I realize that my mom is still waiting for her APPOINTMENT to begin. This is 30-45 minutes later! My mother does not have hair the length of Repunzel.

Tae did my hair and she did a great job I absolutely love it I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for 8 weeks from now to get her to do it again which is a big deal for me when normally I would never commit to getting my hair done by someone so soon again after I normally just have whoever cut my hair and go with it but I think I definitely found my hairdresser for as long as she is still working in Goldsboro ♀️ ♀️

Accidents happen, but Lanetta used a pair of clippers on the back of my neck that were scratching me pretty hard while she was finishing my neck line. It stung pretty bad, but not enough for me to freak out and stop her (I have a high pain tolerance). The next day, I look at my neck, and it looks absolutely hurt/scratched up. Like someone slashed a knife across the back of my neck. Absolutely bad clippers. She is decent at her job, and it was definitely the fault of the clippers. I should have said something when it started hurting, but I didn’t. That being said, I think it’s important to check your equipment and make sure the teeth/blades aren’t out of whack/misaligned. I’m understanding, so I got my refund and let it go. However, everyone is going to be wondering what happened to my neck at work, and I’m going to have to tell them about this experience. I’ve never gotten hurt at a barber shop in 26 years of getting haircuts, and this is a first.
