Stylists must remember if they are trying to build their ticket by doing add-on services, it is IMPORTANT to inform the customer of what you’re doing and what the cost is. You cannot add services and assume someone can pay for those added services. They’ll end up doing the work for free and it’ll be their own fault. I worked in a jcpenney salon for years as a master stylists so I know how it works.

I was wondering why JCP salon had such a low rating but I have experienced it for myself and know why. I just waited 45 minutes past my scheduled time for my appointment that was scheduled and confirmed 2 days ago. When I came in the receptionist said it would be about 10-15 minutes wait bc the stylist previous appointment arrived late. After the initial 15 minutes I was not addressed anymore and waited patiently while the receptionist made 2 more appointments later today for the stylist I’ve been waiting to assist me, unacceptable. This is exactly why I prefer to style my own hair compared to wasting my day away at any salon. Very disappointed.

Awful experience. Stylist was extremely unprofessional. Waited over an hour past my appointment time. At no point did she acknowledge my presence or apologize for the inconvenience until I walked out. Stylist was too busy playing with other JCP employees. Don’t waste your time and money.

I asked for my daughter to have her bangs cut. The lady cut them way too short and even cut into the sides of her hair making her sides short way above the top of her ears. Her bangs look like the character from the movie dumb and dumber.The lady their ruined my daughter’s hair. It’s probably going to take months to fix.

I went there for a haircut, was my mistake not reading reviews first. She barely cut anything, I wanted a V shape haircut and left with the same haircut I came with.Just payed $34 for washing my hair and blow drying it, will not go back.
