I can’t thank Chanel enough. She was amazing from moment I sat in chair from the moment I walked out. Very nice , personable, and overall amazing at her job. Going into the New Year, I decided to make a bold change. I went from a very deep dark brown, and super tight curly hair, to a high and low light blonde and pressed bone straight. I consulted with stylist Chanelle for the look I wanted, and she confidently took on the challenge. She talked me through everything she did and products she used and was sure to use protect the integrity of my hairs overall condition. During my longer process I had the chance to observe stylist doing all type of hair styles on all hair types and on a diverse clientele. I 100% recommend choosing the instyle salon at JCPENNEY prices corner!!!!!

My mother and I decided to get our hair colored and styled yesterday. We have called several hair salons only to receive responses that there spots were booked. So we ended up at jcpennys. My mom asked the lady if they were able to highlight her hair. The front desk lady was acting like she didn’t understand what highlights were, but she works in a hair salon. She told us that the hairstylist that colored hair was off(in a VERY rude tone). So I responded by saying that’s fine we will just go to hair cuttery and procced to walk out. The lady Flagged us down on our way out the door to tell us that their was a hairstyle that was able to take us both. I shown the hair stylist the look that I want and my hair tuned out NOTHING like the picture I showed her, she told me that she was able to achieve the look that I showed her. My hair is looking like a blonde orange and yellow and brown train reck .. my moms hair came out nice tho but I will never go there again just take my hair to true hair professionals

I’m giving this one star because it won’t let me give zero. I have needed a haircut for a bit now and decided today was as good a day as any. So I walked in and was set up with a “stylist”. I’m a pretty plain dude so I just needed a trim in the top and front and fade on the sides. No big deal. I just had a weird feeling as my hair was being cut. When I noticed some missed spots, I was told it would be gotten with the trimmers. I left not feeling good about the $18 I just spent. In fact, after I got home and got a good look at the murdrr scene on top of my head, I high tailed it to another barber to get it fixed. When I took my hat off and explained what happened, the 2 guys on duty replied with” daaaaaammmmmnn, what happened?”. They fixed it in a jiffy, for another fee of course. 2 haircuts in a day is a first for me. Never again.
