Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went in to get highlights, and the lady ended up giving me two different colors. She fried my whole hair from roots to end. I have split ends I didn’t have before running from my crown down to my ends. She didn’t even use aluminum foils to do the highlights. She took a brush and just splattered it however she felt like doing it. I never went in to have my hair cut, but she kept insisting for me to cut 2-3 inches off of my hair because she damaged my hair. She almost left me bald. Then she had a set price which the guy at the register up the price once I got there. They were in a rush trying to throw me out as quick as possible when I’m the customer? That was beyond disrespectful, and very rude. She was very slow with 0 experience. She mess up my hair color I walked out looking a mess. My hair looked way better when I came in. They made me lose like 300 dollar work that I got somewhere else that was very professional. My hair was healthy before I came in. They destroyed my hair also wasted my time. I went in to get highlights, and the lady ended up giving me two different colors. She fried my whole hair from roots to end. I have split ends I didn’t have before running from my crown down to my ends. She didn’t even use aluminum foils to do the highlights. Critical: QualityI was not going to write a review because the manager was kind enough to partially fix the mistakes that were done to my hair. But my hair is still has a lot of healing to do. She had to give me a second hair cut because she said that they still looked fried. A piece on the back of my hair was so bad that she had to cut it short but in reality the damage is up to the root on that piece of hair. The color was so brassy that my hair looked orange in the sun and it was uneven and the highlights were just not right. She did a great job trying to fix my hair and that is the reason I gave the Jcpenny salon a 2 star review. But for the damage that was done to my hair she could have at least refunded 50% back. Yes the color is an easy fix but the damage is not. My hair will take quite sometime to grow to the length that it was. I had never cried for my hair before but I felt so frustrated that I could not contain myself. I know that color was easy to fix but the damage to my hair is still there and it will take months to have my healthy hair back. Just be careful who you get your hair done by, I supposedly got a pro stylist. I’m not a stylist but I know exactly what went wrong when she was doing my hair. I probably would have done a better job at my house using box dye. This service is definitely not worth $255 dollars. I was not going to write a review because the manager was kind enough to partially fix the mistakes that were done to my hair. But my hair is still has a lot of healing to do. She had to give me a second hair cut because she said that they still looked fried.
