This review is based off of my girlfriend going here a couple of times. She has seen Heather the past two times and she is nothing but professional. She takes her time with coloring, cutting, washing, and drying. She is very friendly, has a positive attitude, and listens to what you want done. If this review was based off of just Heather it would be above 5 stars. Since it is on the salon itself, it is getting 4 stars because the prices can be a bit high.

Took my daughter there for a simple cut. Got the Xpress cut. Online says it includes shampoo, conditioner, and cut. She did not shampoo or condition, she did a dry cut. After she was done I questioned it. Said “ shampoo wasn’t included”. Not what the app says. Offered brochure, took one. Brochure does not define what each service includes. Left irritated. Walked through store and my daughter tapped me and showed me a chunk of hair she missed. Took her back, she trimmed it. Got home to a different light. Noticed her hair is butchered. Not even at all. Even sides are not even lengths when looking at her. Traumatic for a 13 year old girl. Paid $22, for a 8 minute dry butcher job that looks like a child did it. Gone to this place for years myself. Will never go again. Completely unprofessional.

Unfortunately, my haircut was terrible. I have curly hair, and when I left the salon, it was somewhat ok looking because my hair was still very wet, but when it dried, it was was the worst haircut I’ve ever had. It was worse than had I had chopped it off myself at home. The entire event (including the wash) took 15 minutes– it should have taken 1 to 1.5 hours for the type of cut I was seeking. (And I showed the stylist photos before starting, to make sure we were on the same page.) Also, no one was expecting me, despite the fact that I booked an appointment in advance using their online scheduling. They do not actually honor the online appointments, as I showed up and the stylist was not there and was not answering his phone when they called. So, someone else who was available gave me the cut. I immediately found another stylist elsewhere who, within less than 24 hours (because I was embarrassed to be seen in public with the cut) worked magic to fix the first cut. The stylist who fixed my hair showed me how uneven and incorrect the JCPenney cut was.
