I got a haircut by Piolo. I asked for a drop fade and half an inch off the top, and he went above and beyond of what I could have asked for. He did an absolutely perfect job, and was very nice and friendly. He asked questions to make sure he did the cut exactly how I wanted it. I left the shop feeling great and am definitely coming back!

This place is super chill. I get my cut from Josh and he cuts my hair amazingly. I’ve always gone to Korean hair salons because I was back in my hometown due to Covid. When it was time to come out to riverside for in-person classes I was nervous about trying to find a good haircutting place. I didn’t know how the whole numbers thing worked with cutting hair because in Korean hair salons I usually just describe the look I want to go for. However, I can tell Josh I want this type of style and what not and he will cut it beautifully to the tee. My hair is hard to cut and other people who have cut my hair will always say that this part of the cut looks weird because of your head shape. Josh on the other hand cuts my hair with my head shape in mind and goes with the flow and balances things out for a fresh looking cut. Amazing work here and I only go to get my cuts from Josh.

Walked in for a haircut and was not greeted. I sat and waited for someone to seat me or at least say something to me. When a chair became available someone who walked in after me sat themselves down without even being called on. That’s when I decided to just go elsewhere. Felt ignored and like I wasted my time here.

After trying out many other barbers in the area near my university, I can confidently confirm that J’Bez provides exceptional service that you can rely on every single time. I have been going to Jeremy for many years now and am now a life long customer that only gets cut by him. He has a great deal of expertise, knowledge, and continues to always work on his craft as he is truly passionate about his work. Whatever hair or features you may have, he has an extremely diverse skillset that can cater to anyone’s needs. In addition to that, I especially appreciate the fact that he spends above the average or required time on me for whatever I may request. Whether it be a haircut or beard trim, he never allows me to leave the shop until I am truly satisfied and content with the highest possible quality service delivered to me. Most barbers spend about 30 minutes on an average cut but Jeremy has always spent at least 45 if not an hour for me to make sure he gets it absolutely right. Jeremy also forms a genuine bond with all of his clients and has gone above and beyond for me many times by providing a cut or even other services at times outside of his usual working hours when I wasn’t free during those times and still needed the service ASAP. He has been one of the only barbers who truly understands what I’m looking for even if I can’t explain it with the proper jargon. If you are looking for a sincere barber who you can unequivocally rely on, Jeremy is your man.
