I dyed my hair there and to save money, I used my own dye. They told me to triple the dye amount, so I did, but the color turned out too bright and not at all what I communicated through words and pictures. If you want to use your own dye, they don’t feel they’re responsible for aligning the effect of hairstyling to your expectations. In the end, with a failed color already blown dry, they told me that they normally did a color test for customers using the salon’s dyes but not for customers who bring their own dyes. Why not do a test for me? Why not tell me in advance that there wouldn’t be a test? Just because you didn’t spend money of their dyes, they don’t think they should make you fully informed. It’s business, I understand, but I feel that they are a bit cold and indifferent. It’s all about making money.

Great cuts at low cost. I’ve become a regular here ever since moving to North Quincy. Owners and staff are friendly. They are fluent in both English and Chinese; to make things easy for them, I tend to converse with them in my 2nd language (Chinese, Mandarin). I always ask for a hair wash – they’ve always done a wonderful job!
